House of Pho reviews
15 We come here regularly, usually after Church. This has been one of our go-to Vietnamese restaurants when we are in Hayward.
The Phos are good and so are some rice meals. Staff are friendly and the service was always good since they probably recognize us as regulars.
Place sucks. Noodles and broth are weak. They use those cheap dry noodles, not the silky delicious ones. Broth tastes like hot water no flavor
I did pick up on Uber eats and they gave me the wrong order. I went out my way to drive back 15 minutes and they couldn’t even let me keep the incorrect order let alone have some extra sauce. I literally only came here cause lucky 7 pho was closed. Terrible customer service and cheap owners.
Food is absolutely delicious. Lack of a lunch special is not too good but everything else is fantastic
No nonsense, sweet staff in a basic shop with prices that won't be beat. I enjoyed my soup very much. My lemon was a little bitter from over-ripeness
This was the first spot I ever tried pho and now I’m obsessed! It’s really good and has amazing portions. I love the boba there (a bit sugary for me tho) the tapioca pearls are really something else10/10
Pages of menu options. The broth is clear, flavorful and steamy. I recommend trying the veggie pho as it’s filled to the brim with a variety of fresh vegetables.
The food was decent but it wasn't very clean and our waitress looked like she hated her life.
I really like coming to place. The food is very good and the service is great! I will be coming back:)
I go here all the time with my girlfriend we love it. The taste is always consistent and always delicious, people who say otherwise are invalid.
My husband and I went here because I wanted to try their Che. We had pho and stir-fry noodles, egg rolls, plum soda, fruit che, and another one. The che was OK. It is still much better than the other places we've been to that has limited options. House of Pho has more options for traditional che than others but it wasn't the best che I've tasted. The egg rolls were the best.
The food was flavorful yet I can still tell that it is a bit watered down. It came out quickly and hot. The service was great. Staff was on point, we got ordered, served, and payment was also speedy. The environment was open roomed and it was easy to talk to each other. It was not loud so if you're going on a date and wanted to talk a lot then this is good place to be.
I also thought it was decently priced as well. They portions are large so it will fill you up. On top of the drinks and che you order. You're set.
Used to be my routine pho place but not anymore. The price does not justify what you get, barely any meat in the pho and noodle is too hard. Skip it if you can.
Not busy at all but did not come to front counter to serve me at all, got tired of waiting and just left. Maybe will try again in the future but plenty more good options out there
I got the bbq pork plate, my girlfriend a large beef combo pho and both of us iced coffees. The cost boiled down to about $19 each before tip. The coffee was delicious, flavorful, strong and smooth. The bbq was okay. Felt a little overpriced compared to what I got. I don't think I'd get it again. But the pho was great! Worth revisiting for the pho, but not sure if I'd try the rice plates again. Overall a positive experience, just wish I had ordered something different
Used to be great now just mediocre. They raised the price for everything on menu significantly but didn't adjust portion size. Was there 25 mins and the waiter only showed up once and disappeared after that. I think someone in the kitchen delivered to my table instead of the lady that took the order. If the service was better it might justify the price, but in the Bay area there are plenty of Vietnamese food places. Save your time and money and skip this place.
