House of Phở reviews
17An amazing and professional service, accompanied with delicious and fresh quality food. I read some negative reviews and saw the pictures they posted and the food they complained about looks amazing, I have had many different items from their menu and im telling you this place is consistent, fresh and amazing all the time. Don't listen to any of these negative reviews I've been coming here for a decade and they are always always amazing here!
Size of meal is big.
And the price is acceptable.
It taste good.
A good choose in Santa Clara.
Good service and excellent, appealing food. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I always love a good bowl of pho.
Rude girl with highlighted hair. I told her that I had a pick up order and she didn't understand me and blamed it on me. Used to come here often but now no. Get your attitude checked. This isn't the first time I've noticed this about this person and my wife who speaks Vietnamese heard her talking rude before about others in a previous dining experience.
I ordered pho ghà. Honestly it was the worst pho ever I ate. The taste of the soup is not authentic at all. The base of the soup, the broth taste like nothing. And the soup is expensive.
If you want to eat authentic pho go to Vietnam or choose another place.
Not only slow, but also extremely rude when asking for service. The food quality is just okay. The owner seems always angry. That basically summarizes the experience here. Check all the recent reviews. People mostly mentioned the rude and poor service.
If you want to have a good day, this place is highly NOT recommended.
The waitress was horrible and I ate soap in their pho. I really loved the same restaurant in alameda but definitely won’t visit the Sunnyvale one any more.
Decent spot for takeout! The Com Bo Luc Lac was pretty flavorful, lots of sauce too. Juicy! The meat-to-rice ratio was a bit off. So much tomato rice! Not enough filet mignon. For $14.50, it's a bit pricey for the portions. However, the quality of the food was great. Overall, I would get this again. Just wish there was more beef for the price.
Ordered toward the end of business hours.either they ran out of food or just got lazy because they didn’t care.my bun bo hue noodles was half the amount that they usually came with the soup and I ordered 2 of them. Didn’t check them until I got home!
I just went in to order take out and as soon as I walked in the lady at the counter told me they were closed. I said I thought you closed at 9 and she said no orders after 845 even for take out. I got back in my car to see that it was only 840. I almost mentioned the time except with service like that I'm sure they'd do something to my food! I was so excited to eat there. What a disappointment. I won't be coming back. There are plenty of pho houses around here that actually want my money. BOOOO!
The restaurant you have a lot of customers I eat here usually. I only see 2 girls, very crowded weekend, waitresses 2 Dear ladies. Why Don't you let helpers do it, thanks
Pretty good place for lunch. My wife had the rice plate which came with 2 big pieces of pork chops, 2 big chicken wings, & 2 fried egg rolls. I had the seafood combination soup. Really big portions on both, so plenty of left overs for dinner. Only thing is, the soup needed a bit more flavor & needed to be hotter. Over all was a good experience & we will be back.
Went to eat today with family. Restaurant was pretty empty. Servers keep talking between them, acknowlenge us after a while. We got water glass dirty. After drinking a sip of water I noticed the cup was dirty with lipstick. Yuck, very discusting! To say the very least. My food got hair and an unknown of burn piece in my food. I don't expect to go back and encourage everyone to think twice if you want to visit this restaurant.
Just like other Vietnamese restaurants I've been except that this one is clean and roomier but their food are the same. Some are sweet, others are not.
One of the Vietnamese restaurant in Santa Clara. I liked the Chicken Noodle Soup. And my friend is a regular visitor here for other dishes. They serve hot tea upon request. Place have enough seatings to accommodate more people. I visit again if I come to Santa Clara again.
I get fried rice here all the time. Why? They fry it well. The rice and the meat both get a little burn marks (a sign of good frying!).
Others in the party tried shrimp fried rice (shrimp is expensive, so you will get fewer pieces) and Pho.
I've been here couple times and got the impression they overcharge customers. They don't show you the receipt and my check is always $2-3 more than it should be. So, if they're doing this to all customer they're getting a lot of money in a disonest way. Not coming back.
