Its open, lots of appliances, good variety. Its on the upper floor so you need to take the elevator, or steps. Friendly, helpful staff.

Craig was very helpful in finding the right oven for us. It was delivered shockingly quick (two days!). We are very happy with our GE purchase.

The staff were helpful. We purchased a wall oven that was competitively priced and in-stock. We purchased on a Friday and had the oven installed the following Tuesday! Great service!

Eric, the salesman, promised me a 1 hour delivery window before I purchased a mattress on Tuesday (delivery scheduled for Thursday). The company’s official policy is a 3 hour window, so that is what I received Wednesday night via text. I had to work, so I was hoping to get the smaller window I’d been promised and have someone in my leasing office let the delivery in. When I called the store back on Thursday morning, Eric gave me a 1-1: 45 PM window (rather than the 12-3 PM I was texted).

Unsurprisingly, the deliverers were behind that day, and didn’t arrive until around 2: 20 PM. They claimed no one was there to let them in, and a back and forth ensued where I tried talking to the deliverer (Tino), a delivery call operator (Juan), and someone else in customer service. Tino absolutely refused to do a few more deliveries and come back, despite Juan telling me that had a few more deliveries on their route just a few minutes away from my place. The other customer service person didn’t help at all.

Needless to say, my mattress didn’t get delivered at all, as they also refused to leave the mattress without a signature (even though they were already inside my secured building). Eric called back saying he would do something about it, and proceeded to contact the district manager. That got us nowhere, and Eric called me back sheepishly, saying he got told to never promise a smaller than 3 hour delivery window again. As for my mattress, I could reschedule for 2 days later for free or 1 day later for $99 (discounted from $199 because of their mistake, but somehow not free…).

Interestingly, when I talked to my leasing office, the slip had been left at 2: 20 PM outside the building. The ladies there told me that they didn’t take lunch until 3 PM, and would have been here to receive the mattress. I had been on the phone with Tino at 2: 30 PM, who was supposedly “in the building with no one there. ” Something isn’t adding up, and my best guess is Tino lied.

I just received my mattress (Saturday), and today the delivery men were very nice. I’m giving 2 stars because the mattress is also quite nice, and Eric matched the online deal (free mattress protector, sheet set, and 2 foam pillows). He also matched my discounted cost of $699 for the bundle instead of $799 (an error on my part, as I misremembered the number). But I think I earned that discount given the hassle and untruths.

No appliances at Long Beach location. Representative proposed to show what they have on a tablet that is the same for their website. Waist of time.

We recently purchased a new dishwasher and a stove. Carlo was our salesperson, and did a great job outlining the advantages and options for us on both. We chose an upgraded washer that was installed by the famous Randy - buy something and you will find out. Good choice, wonderful and professional installation!
The stove was problematic, we picked a brand and style that was out of stock, and not available until September. It took six weeks to finally pin down Samsung on a possible delivery date. We did a search and numerous telephone calls to confirm that Samsung was having issues on delivery during the Rona mess, and no one had our unit in stock or any better delivery date.
So, since we were tired of trying not to blow up the kitchen, it was back to Carlo. We worked a very fair deal for the upgraded version that was in stock. It was installed 2 days later by Caesar and his helper, quickly done, workmanlike job.
I am drinking my first pot of tea boiled on my new stove, very happy how it all worked out. This was not our first rodeo with Howard's, still good prices, good products, and very good customer service.if the need presents, we will be back again!

Jon was such a professional, I’m glad I chose to make my purchase here. I was looking for a freestanding range with “true convection” and instead of trying to convince me to buy something different, he showed me my options and explained to me the difference in the performance by brand. Unlike the others who were pushing me to get something out of my price range and not what I was looking for, The GE range He recommended was not only on my list but it is also the one that I chose. Would definitely recommend the store, this location, and Jon as your sales rep!
