H&R Block, El Cajon CA

Paid 400$ just to get a letter 4 months later that I needed more info. I called in before hand, was put on hold for 30 minutes and they said it wasn’t my fault or anyone’s, to come in and they would take care of it. Went in to get it done and had to pay an extra 35$ And lost an extra 1,000 on my taxes and was told that the 40$ peace of mind insurance I paid for wouldn’t cover it. They said it was my fault. Complete waste of time.

It cost more this year to have someone help prep than it has in the past. Usually all fees end up around $300, and this year it was $500! I would have done it all on my own but got to a spot that I couldn’t figure out with out the help of a professional, and going in was easiest.

The lady was amazing but I didnt realize the price was so high. I was only getting back 600 and the price to get my taxes done was half of my return. That is crazy. I would prefer to go back to doing it online on my own.

Cheri Smith had the worse customer service then any other year I've gone to H&R block I left completely unhappy & felt as if she didn't even at the least see me leave feeling any way better about my taxes filed this year with her. She didnt even grant me the %20 as a returning customer that on the same site she's showcased on to my charge I paid afterwards she only applied %10 & I've gone to this same office for years!

We had a great experience at H&R Block and will be returning to make sure we get our taxes done properly again next year.

I have been to H&R Block ever since I started working in 1980. I have have been going to the West Main st office and Lorri Porco has done my taxes she has always been very professional, knowledgeable and nice. I took my grandson with me and Lorri was gracious enough to give him free advice now that he's working. I really appreciate the time she took to help my grandson. I wish her many blessings.

Clarice Smith is very knowledgeable, thorough and fast with the business process and my personal needs. Her good natured personality makes is easy to communicate all of the issues with my tax filing.

Cherie Smith has always been extremely helpful in developing my tax returns, taking the time to get it right and find all deductions. She is very quick in reading and understanding my various dividend forms and getting them entered in the proper place in the tax forms.

I totally trust the company and the staff is very well trained. If they come across a question someone may ask they find it out if they're not sure. I feel very competent that they are getting the most out of my taxes for me and my family. I have a real piece of mind when they do my taxes.

Help me get a higher return than I would have been able to get on my own and cleared up some confusing information. I am very grateful.

We have been going to H&R Block to see Anthony for the last few years. He is always helpful, making sure we get the best refund possible. He is quick, efficient and has a way of explaining the process that makes it easy to understand.

Anthony always keeps us updated on all changes, extremely helpful and friendly. If I have a question he has my answer.
