4I was on a walk around the district when I saw this temple. I was just checking it out from outside and this super kind woman invited me to come inside for a tour. It was a lovely tour and I felt very welcomed at all times. She explained everything about the temple and a bit about their beliefs. I am very grateful for the way they showed me everything and how I was treated in the temple. A very interesting and beautiful experience!
Dangerous area for tourists despite it being daylight (2 pm). Be very aware of your surroundings. Within 2 minutes of being in front of the building, a man approached my sister and I talking about a bunch of racial stuff. Walking back to the car, a different man from the same block put his hoodie and a dark mask on to quickly approach my sister and I.
The authentic, auspicious, holy and actual temple of the Buddha Vajradhara’s incarnation. Both the Buddha Vajradhara and all his incarnations! Including H. H. Dorje Chang Buddha III! My mother has an original, 1st edt.of “Expounding…”elevated in a great location! I weep at all the blessings Buddhas, bodhisattvas, Dewas, etc get from my mommy having that 1st ed!
Beautiful temple. I miss the lunches there. The nuns are so kind and generous. You could have lunch there if you tell the nuns in advance. I usually give a few dollars as donations.
