Huckleberry's Breakfast & Lunch reviews
15 Thee food, Service, and ambiance was wonderful! Is like a little slice of Southern heaven here California. Portions are great and so is the pricing. They also recognize their Military service members! Which is a huge plus in my book!
Oh my sweet baby Jesus! I've died and gone to Hillbilly Heaven! Their food is so flipping delicious make you slap yo Grandma, Mama, and Auntie! We got the Mardi Gras beignets, Fried greed tomatoes, and the Stacked Chicken and waffles! Oh and you've got to try the swamp tea with huckleberry's! All the different flavors is like a huge explosion in your mouth!
We liked it so much we went back a 2nd time for their lunch menu. We had the Dixieland steak melt and shrimp po-boy and was equally impressed!
Our server Sarah both times! She was wonderful and down to Earth! We shared travel/food experience and compared their beignets to Café Du monde in Louisiana. Huckleberry's wins hands down! If you haven't gone you must go NOW!

Loved the food and atmosphere. Wonderful service! Thank you for a great place to get yummy food.
Do not eat the catfish po boy! Tasted super off and ended up going to the hospital with food poisoning. Have eaten there before and had the double burger and it was swimming in grease but $14 to get sick is uncool!
Pastry appetizer with fruit was really good. Chicken and waffle special was great! Breakfast skillet was great! Strawberry lemonade and Carmel iced coffee were good. However it did take about 35 to 45 mins to get food, and it wasn't that busy. Just don't go if you're in a hurry.
Me and my daughter love this place Jennifer, carly and April have all been super sweet to us and always say hi to my daughter Will for sure be back many more times
Fantastic place to eat with good prices. They are always busy but you never have to wait long
Friendly staff. I had a really delicious Biscuits/scrambled eggs/ country fried steak w/ gravy breakfast. I also really enjoyed the beignets served with 4 different syrups and vanilla cream.
Service was very very disappointed when there was less than 10 people n the place. Our serve ignored us.
If you like mostly fried foods, lots of sweet dishes and drinks, this might be your kind of place. Very little fresh options or salads for my diabetic restrictions. No real cream for the coffee. Decor makes it look a little better than the old Denny's. Probably won't be back.
Tabitha was absolutely amazing. She was prompt and was super helpful with menu options. I'd definitely come back to this restaurant purely to have her as my server again.
Great food. Good brunch with the wife. Service very good. Everyone helping each other. Sweet.
Nothing special about their food. Been there twice and both time the food was cold. Not going back.
Food was good, service was quick, and I saw an alligator (fake of course) in a barrel as I walked in.
First time in. Greeted, seated. Sat there for nearly 15 minutes. A waitress informed the table right next to ours (2 feet from us) that their order should be out soon, and apologized for the delay. She then left immediately; we we not even asked if we would like something to drink. We pulled the plug and left. As we left, the manager thanked us for coming in. Yeah, great. We went to Dan's Grub Shack, seated, drink order taken, and had a great lunch.
This was a fantastic place for food it was quite delicious indeed. And the bloody Mary's are superb.
