I am a foodie, If I had a food page I would delete it right now because Im not going to another restaurant for a long time. This restaurant was so good and exceeded my expectations! Not only was the food DELICIOUS but the staff was so friendly. Ryan was the best and offered me a guava juice which I really appreciated! Love this restaurant, definitely going to be our go to

Yummy food, both Hawaiian and Filipino. So happy there's a place that serves this food downtown. Will definitely be back repeatedly from now on.

Enjoyed my first visit here and would return the next time I am in the area for work. The adobo omelette was delicious and was just as good as breakfast leftovers as it was as a fresh lunch. Tried the spam musubi—personally prefer a better ratio of spam and sauce to rice, so wouldn’t order this again. I wanted to try the made-to-order chicharron but they happened to be sold out.

Would love there to be a sample platter of bbq, lechon, tocino, etc: if that option existed, would happily spend $20 for the chance to try a bit of everything.

Looking forward to a return visit to SJ, which means a return visit to explore more of this menu.

Hula Bar and Kitchen is one of my favorite new restaurants right now. The price is right and the flavors are fantastic.

We ordered lechon sisig and da situation with tocino. The proteins were cooked perfectly with the meat being juicy and the fat rendered down just right. The onions and peppers in the sisig were great. The hot sauce was *chef’s kiss*.

I can’t wait to come back with a bigger group so we can also try the halo halo and turon with ube ice cream. I hope you enjoy Hula as much as we did!

Food is loaded and made with love. If you’re with a group, order family style entrees and multiple sides. Fantastic Filipino food.

Love love love their lechon dish (pork belly)! One of the best I've had. Never had one that has what looks and tastes like soy based sauce. Crispy skin but not tough not too thick. I like the Mac salad side. Tried their sisig tacos, too; which were also worth trying. Longanisa was standard Filipino sausage; sweet and salty. Staff were friendly. Small restaurant but decor adds character. Will definitely go back for the lechon again and to try other dishes. Only downside is price.

Came here with a few friends during soft opening. We absolutely love their Red Snapper, Adobe Chicken, Garlic Rice, and Lumpia! 100% will be back again with friends.

I am not sure about the authenticity of all the stellar ratings about this place. Ordered the adobo chicken, garlic shrimp and lumpia. They were all OK. The chicken was too salty. It's just an OK place and not the one-of-a-kind impression created by the majority of the reviews.

What a find! I was craving garlic shrimp, but wasn't willing to fly out to get some. Hula bar came through with their HEAD ON spicy garlic shrimp and it was AMAZING! For those of you who can eat right through the head and shell, you are in for an amazing treat. If you like to get dirty, feel free to peel them both away, but you have to lick your fingers to get all that delicious spicy sauce

We also got Da Situation with Kalua pork. The portion was MASSIVE and basically vacuumed it all. It's so tender, soft, and perfectly balanced.

We're coming back for more, that's for sure.

The food here was EVERYTHING. My new favorite place to go. I love, love love it already. Super excited that seafood is on the menu as I don’t eat meat. The flavors, the drinks, the service, the team was AWESOME SAUCE.

So glad we stumbled in here! You could really just tell that everything was done with a lot of love. Fast and friendly service in a laid back atmosphere; kid friendly with lots of tempting choices on the menu. The lechon- one of the only places I've been to where it was both crispy and moist! Chicken adobo was super tender, longanisa on point, spam musubi and lumpia good as well. Pork tocino was the hands down winner at our table: sweet, savory, crispy- everything was just right. Portion sizes were generous and even the rice was really lovely! Would also recommend the halo halo. Awesome addition to the neighborhood and can't wait to return!

Service was great and the food was pretty good! I got the pork belly and it was a little tough to chew however.

Food and service was good. Chef was nice to make a vegetarian option available although for a better vegetarian option (mushroom and egg dish) must inform in advance

Great Filipino food with a twist. I'd say it's like a Hawaiian Filipino vibe. All the did is really good. The lechon is so crispy. $20 for a rice bowl is a bit pricy. I'd suggest getting it a la carte. The $7 lechon sisig tacos are great too if you don't feel like dropping $20. I've also had the adobo omelette which is fire. Can't go wrong with anything on the menu. It's gonna be delicious

The Spicy Ahi Poke Rice Bowl was top notch. A step above the other poke places in downtown.
