Hummus Republic reviews
201st time going there tonight. Used to live in the Middle East and now live in Hawaii. Been craving authentic Middle Eastern food for a while, and found it here, in Burbank, on a visit. Amazing food. Falafel is freshly made. We had a great experience, and for sure going back when we visit again.
I ordered pick up from here for the first time and everything was good. I will definitely go back. This is another healthy option I can add to my list they have a lot of good options for people of all different diets. You also get to build yourself P. S (Way better than cava in my opinion!)
Everything was fresh, the options were generous and the service was great. Fantastic place for lunch.
Never a let down. Would drive countless miles for this place. Food is the freshest and delicious. Staff is patient and kind. Value is wonderful. I love this place
Great food, great portion size, great atmosphere. Super friendly staff walked us through the process. Get it loaded! It's all delicious, and healthy, not something you'll feel guilty about.
We came for dinner at 6pm on a Wednesday and the place was all locked up. Are they closed for good here?
The chicken is salty & over spiced. I literally had a brides maid moment once I got home. Cava is the goat end of story.
Beautiful and well-kept restaurant. The customer service was above and beyond from the time of ordering, and even after we sat down to eat. The food tasted and looks great. I look forward to coming back for more!
Jason gave EXCELLENT service, and the food was delicious! Will comeback, i hope you guys open another location near Hollywood
Really good food but make sure they charge you for what you got! Ive been there twice, and both times they tried to charge me for a bowl ($14.95) when I got a pita wrap which is supposed to be $11.95. It sucks becuase I really like this place but its annoying to have to check the recipt every time I go.
EDIT: They have taken this into account and have never charged me over the ammount again. Amazing food I reccomend to everyone who stops by the burbank mall. I reccomend trying their different lemonade flavors!
I am a fan of hummus and falafel and this establishment never disappoints!
It is also a great meeting location if you are coming to Beautiful Downtown Burbank and it is a short 5 min.walk from the parking structure on Orange Grove.
We ordered earth burger and Pita falafel wrap. The food was really nice. Definitely try the earth burger.
One of my favorite places to eat! The food is always so good and with generous portions. The employees are always friendly and helpful as well. Get the crispy chickpeas with whatever you order!
So delicious- I’m seriously obsessed. It’s Mediterranean served chipotle style. I’d choose this over chipotle ANY day. The jalapeño feta is too die for. Run here!
Found this resto while walking down the blvd. The food and service was excellent. They were very patient with us.
Incredible food that tastes fresh and full of flavor! So much variety and options to make it your own. We will definitely be coming back.
I recommend the chicken shawarma pita with the spicy hummus spread
Was walking around actually looking for coffee and came across this place after seeing a movie at the AMC. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Loved their ginger/turmeric drink. The food was fulfilling.
Phenomenal bowl…one of the best Mediterranean felafel bowls I’ve had. Staff were so friendly too.
I give it three because the people their were super friendly. I got the bowl with everything on it. The food was alright. The falafel were dry. The chicken was over cooked too much seasoning. With my drink it came down to $19 pretty pricey.
Best casual dining restaurant in LA.
Do you like Tex mex? Yeah, well, I did, but now I’m over it after having this.
There’s a new player in town and I’m putting my mouth where my money is (or where it goes to say the least).
Hummus Republic.
Andy provides exceptional upbeat service with a superior healthy vegan product. He is very accommodating and hospitable. I get the falafel bowl, with a warm grilled pita bread on the side, with a mix of couscous, garbanzo beans, three kinds of hummus spreads, toasted chick peas, a grilled jalapeño, grilled eggplant, freshly prepared 6 falafels balls, topped with an array of salads and veggies, chile sauce and vegan dressings. Mmmm. I’m making myself hungry again just writing this. And I just finished a bowl!
I highly recommend this place.and let the experience speak for itself. This place is incredible! Generous portions (somebody get me a stretcher), and very delicious foods. I never walk out hungry. There are plenty of vegan options. I will definitely be back! (And I have definitely been back!) This is an amendment to my original post. (And yes, my enthusiasm authentically matches the taste and experience of enjoying this food.)
