Pier is not far away from here and had a play park on the beach for kids, and a lot of room for everyone, people surf here as well and there are some good restaurants on at the pier as well if you are hungry!

Playground right on the beach! Parking was difficult and I wish there was a restaurant or two nearby, but it's a decent playground.

Playground is great. Restrooms are trash because the city doesn't take care of them properly.

So sad that a park built on the sand meant to be for all inclusive children is already falling apart within 3 years of being built. They must not have accounted for the corrosion of the beach.the bridge for the handicapped is now roped off due to holes within the bridge. The picnic tables are all rusted over with holes on the tops of the tables. 2 stars simply for the convenience of the bathrooms and the views of the ocean.

We really enjoy that this park is located on the beach and so far has been kept up nicely. There are also 2 restrooms next to it which was convenient when they built the park. The cons are that they only put in 2 regular swings, 1 baby swing and one seat swing. HB has a large population of children so I don't know why they wouldn't of included more swings or even a set if swings in the sand next to the enclosed park. Some of the floors and stairs of the equipment is now rusted and the paint peeling off so it's not safe if a child falls or is crawling. Overall we like the closeness to the water and sand and that so far it has not been a hangout for sketchy people.

OMG I love this playground! We pretended to be pirates, navy officers and lost princesses, lol. I might have had more fun than the kids.

Boasting of a luxurious panoramic view of the bay, laying a velvety green carpeted landscaped that indeed comforts the soul. When Grounding oneself with positive vibrations, this park provides a wonderful serene place to enjoy a picnic, either in the soothing light of day, or the poetic picturest twighlight, at the setting of the brilliance of the sun.

Super clean and really good for all kids. They have a great rule that only adults WITH KIDS are allowed in the playground. This prevents the homeless population on the beach from taking up the benches and creating an unsafe environment for kids. No sand playground is also a plus if you want the beach feel without having sand in your car!

Great for beach goers. Just keep in mind that parking can get scarce. And have change for the parking meters

3rd location I have been to, and of the 3, it's up there with Huntington Beach!
It's located in the heart of Shoreline Village in Long Beach. Very similar to and reminds me of Seaport Village down in San Diego. Waterfront views with great photo opps of the Queen Mary and other vessels as you pass through.

Parking can be difficult especially on weekends and other peak times, but I found a spot right away on a Saturday night. I think the cost to park in the lot is $12/hr but Wheel Fun validates so be sure to bring your ticket with you for a rate of $2 for the first 2 hrs.

Service was really good. The staff was efficient with moving the line along, and they were cleaning the bikes and surreys after every use. I was glad to see that they were using what I think looked like paper towels with cleaner, unlike the Oceanside location where the girl used dirty rags to "clean" off the bikes.
The bikes themselves were in great condition. Seemed very well taken care of as opposed to Oceanside's beat up ones. Though there was a long line, it moved fast and I was worried there wouldn't be a double surrey available for us by the time we got to the front. We paid and waited no more than about 5 min before one was returned (we were quoted 5 to 15 min with no guarantee). Bonus was we got one with lights, which was the whole point of doing a night ride.

Great views all around but was a bit disappointed that the path wasn't that long. Maybe we missed a section? ! Lol It was however, a nice leisurely bike ride that my kids enjoyed. Will have to come back again in the daytime to see the sights in broad daylight. Would like to try out more of their other locations too. We will be back again!

Nice playground! My toddler love it! Several slides and swings! Benches for the parents to sit in and bathrooms close by. There is an aeroglider too.

Awesome playground. There are benches so you can have a seat while looking at your child. There are also a lot of different structures: swings, bridges, slides, places to hide. With the view of the beach and the Ruby's, it's perfect

Soft ground so if they fall, it won't hurt as bad. More for smaller kids though. My 7 year old niece was almost too big for everything.
