Huntington Beach Veterinary Hospital

Last week we took our boxer mix to HB Vet Hospital to have her ears looked at. They discovered an ear infection in both ears (they treated the infection). She was much better the next day. Two days later she was 100% infection free. The people at HB Vet Hospital are wonderful people who love animals and give them the best care anyone could ask for.

My husband and I have been taking our dogs to Huntington Beach Veterinary Hospital for about 19 years now and would never think about going anywhere else. Our dogs are our children so excellent care is crucial to us. Dr. G is amazing. He is caring, knowledgeable and thorough and fair, and will never put his patients or clients through any unnecessary trauma or expense. We love he and his staff and will never go anywhere else.

Dr Chris and his staff are the best. They always make time to see our pets and take the time to talk to us so we understand. We fully put our faith in this practice.

This was my first time at HB Veterinary, the staff was super friendly and very attentive. Thanks to Dr. Awad for being so caring to Gatsby.

I've been going here for awhile and have had no problems getting my cats looked after. My difficult cat is treated with care. I just make sure I book him for the very end of the day. That way, there’s no waiting and he's in/out quick, which helps minimize stress on my very hard to handle cat. That really helps.

This office is very efficient and caring too. They let me know if Shiloh is due for vaccinations and even give me discounts that I didn’t know were available. We are usually on our way home before our appointment time! They respect our time. Thank you. I have sent 6 other pet patients to them, that’s how comfortable I am.

My dog is a very nervous chihuahua. I am grateful for this veterinary hospitals staff and Dr Chris. They have been very kind, patient and professional with my dog that can be a bit difficult at vets and I appreciate the thorough explanations and answers to any questions I may have. This is the best Vet Office! I have been taking my fur babies to this office for more than 20 years! If you want honest, personal service, and a staff that treats your fur babies like you do, then this is the place!

We have been coming here for 25 years. After 4 years off we just adopted a new dog. Just came for an exam and its like coming home to family

We came to this practice because our long-time vet had retired. We thought we found a new place to go but because of problems at the new place elsewhere we found Huntington Beach Veterinary Hospital. We are very pleased with the level of care here and everyone is so nice and kind. We are very happy with our new veterinary home!

The night before, I took my dog to the animal emergency room in Costa Mesa. (Which was a horrible experience)

My dog was having seizures. Dr. Chris and the friendly staff at HB veterinary hospital, were kind and reassuring, and I definitely will be returning

I'm sorry to say that my experience was not good. I had to go to another vet to get my dog hydrated because it was so bad. They didn't even check for that. Even with throwing up and diarrhea. I would not recommend this place.

My dog was having stomach issues and I called them as soon as they open I was able to get appointment within an hour and as soon as they got there they were able to run blood work and get the results back after a diagnosis of a pancreas issue they started IVs and this treatment I would like to thank them for their fast response and friendly service

We found HB Veterinary Hospital when we had just relocated to the area and needed to get our pups revaccinated. Since then, we have come back for both pup check-ups and a couple emergency visits. The all of the administrative and veterinary staff we have seen have been phenomenal - most importantly, the pups love them (until they realize they're at the vet ;)

They've gone above and beyond in the couple emergency situations we've had to squeeze us in. I fully trust their team and highly recommend them!

I am new to the area so I was a little hesitant about switching vets but knew I needed one closer to home. 10/10 recommendation. Front office staff was great, very friendly as was Dr. Awad. Their timing was very efficient. I have a senior dog with a prolapsed third eye glad (cherry eye) who needed a refill on her typical medication for her eye as well as getting up to date vaccines. Which were much more affordable than I anticipated. They didn’t hassle me about anything else after her check up.plus the office was very neat and clean!

I have taken my two dogs here for 2 years. This place is nothing but money hungry veterinarians. Every issue I brought my dog in for they prescribed wrong medications, gave wrong advice etc… I have started taking my two pups to AAA Animal hospital and have had amazing service there and have very knowledgeable veterinarians. The health conditions my dogs have, have both been treated perfectly. What took Huntington Beach vet 2 years to try and fix only took AAA 1 look over. Dont take your pets here!
