In the ER for my 3 year old daughter and we are receiving most INHUMANE TREATMENT!
If you want to see how hospitals operate in THIRD WORLD COUNTRIES/underdeveloped countries, visit Huntington hospital.
1) i let everyone who approached us know that she has not had any food since this morning as she had fever and no appetite.now that her fever is down, i asked them to please allow me to go to the cafeteria and get her some food while we wait in the lobby. Their response, if you leave this area, we will take you out of the system. Now, 5 hours later, and after asking 3 different people, we finally got 3 crackers for her to eat, thats enough food for one hamster. (will include photo). The nurses and the PAs are very rude. My daughter is crying screaming and they refuse to listen to me asking for water and food. I have never in my life seen anything like this. For this torture they are charging 1000s to my insurance.

2) doctor ordered Urine test for her and i have asked multiple nurses and staff members to bring the urine collection cup. Every time i ask, i get more attitude and rudeness. They are extremely dismissive and unprofessional.

3) after over 6 hours of waiting for blood test results, they refuse to even look in the system when i ask if they are ready.

4) Every staff member and doctor is sitting in the hallway in-front of their computers and patients are in the room without treatment.
This is beyond horrible. I am out of words!

Ian, and all the staff were all wonderful and took very good care of me with my high blood pressure problem. I had all the works done, blood work, CAT Scan, X-ray, EKG, and I am very happy with their help. Thank you entire nurses, doctors and everyone.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Much like the other reviews you will read, I waited over 4 hours to be seen by a doctor after being brought in by an ambulance, despite the waiting room being nearly empty. When I finally did see a doctor, the visit lasted no more than 10 minutes, and I was not informed of the side effects or withdrawal risks of the medication I was given in the room and prescribed. If we had the choice to travel to another hospital, we would have. The building is freezing, and no one checked in during the hours we were waiting. We were in a distressing situation, and I think I honestly would have been better off not going to a medical facility at all. I would never send anyone I cared about to this hospital.

Probably the worst hospital I’ve ever been to. In there for extremely high blood pressure and was nearing a heart attack. They left me alone for most the 10 hours I was there. Didn’t answer any questions that I had asked and barely checked in on me. Them transferring me to a different hospital was the best thing they could’ve done for me. This hospital sucks and I overheard the nurses talking badly about me saying it was all in my head. I do not trust them for that.

This was my first time coming to the hospital and from the very beginning I can only say everything is fantastic especially all of the representatives all of the safety guards the nurses doctors staff and the whole team that took care of us are amazing they are hard-working professionals that know exactly what they are doing.there is no setback when it comes to a request or an issue they are on top of it quickly to handle your request and keep you comfortable they really are to the highest caliber with that said I’m sure the whole hospital follows suit. You are never alone somebody is always checking up on you we have not rang The service button to call for Assistance from a nurse etc.not even one time pressing the button that is very comforting knowing you do not have to ring the buzzer to get help from the team it seems they come in right on time over and over again and I thank them very much. They truly are kind friendly pleasant to speak with they will make time to hear you out it is one of the best experiences I have had and I thank the whole team and the whole hospital. Very safe parking a lot of structures heavy security I say that in a very positive way it is just the way it runs at this particular hospital they have got every corner and floor covered to make you feel safe and you can end up with a nice conversation. Huntington Hospital are family thanks you all of your members and staff for a great healing experience you had not stopped researching The issue until you’ve been thoroughly checked out in detail and the nurses doctors etc.had come to a positive conclusion before they discharge you we many thanks to each and everyone of you.

We've been here 12 hours. We've been stuck in the room waiting for a hospital bed for over 4 hours. They said we had a room over 2 hours ago and it just needed cleaning. Rooms are freezing and the chair is so uncomfortable. Little communication and I don't think they've contacted our urologist.

Really the worst place you'd ever want to go, the staff & doctors are clueless pill pushers, only junk food is served, you will be gaslit, your medical condition does not matter here as those working here do so only to line their pockets and feed off negativity, you will not be treated, visiting Huntington hospital for any reason is surely a regrettable decision; however I'm glad most of the staff is vaccinated those shots are looking to be really effective xD If they really put care over their pockets patients would be on keto diets and not fed meds that cause lasting damage with 0 upsides. Scam scam scam stay away

So the ER here refused to release my daughter who was 4 weeks old at the time, after her pediatrician admitted her there for a a cold and although she had zero fever or breathing impairments and remained healthy the entire time she was there, when I basically put my foot down and said we are leaving whether you let us or not, after she passed numerous sleep studies, tests etc the ER doctor threatened to call CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES and file a neglect case if we left, because I was not going to stay there any longer after almost a week we were finally discharged by another doctor. I didn’t think anything of this at the time, until I received a 40,000 bill from my insurance refusing to pay because there were no valid reasons for any of the tests nor the length of time they were trying to bill for and without any relevant diagnosis, this proved my exact concerns they stuck my 4 week old baby over and over again trying to get blood from her for no reason, it got so bad that they had to get a pediatric nurse over the ER nurse after begging over and over to find someone more qualified to take blood and not being able to take the pain our baby girl was going through. This hospital and it’s doctors represent the exact same situations they have in the recent documentary “TAKE CARE OF MAYA” where a hospital much like this one will try to take the care of your child into their own hands and will either try to paint a picture of child abuse or neglect and create false diagnosis to prolong the period of time or extent of testing they can bill for racking up thousands of dollars and threatening a child abuse or neglect case if you don’t do what they say. This ER dept had one physician heading this whole scheme and I urge you to take into consideration the severity of these risks by bringing a loved one here.

I am writing this review even with my wife still at her room in the hospital. Your staff and facilities are the best. From the start in the emergency room; all the nurses and doctors to our staff in the 5th floor. There are no words for me to express my sincerely appreciation for all of the Doctors; nurses; assistants; transportation… everyone may God blessed all of you your families… all of you chose the right career. Once again thanks.

By far the BEST hospital in the San Gabriel Valley in my opinion. I would give 100 stars if I could, from the ER to when you are admitted to discharge the level of service and care is just amazing! The doctors, nurses and the rest of the staff always give their best! Even when you are waiting areas at the ER the staff checks on your vitals and provide comfort. I have been more than I’d like. It I would not go any other hospital in my area. I trust the doctors and nurses and the hospital staff. They are caring and compassionate! Rest assure that they will not let you go until they have exhausted every possible area of concern. I am thankful and grateful to have such an incredible hospital and staff to care for me. THANK YOU HUNTINGTON HOSPITAL!

The care I received at my stay here was great. However since they discharged me the "errors" on my hospital bill have been almost comical. Nearly $1,500 charge for motrin and tylenol. A stay in the ICU that never happened. These are just the highlights. Now they are pressing me with overdue notices for a revised bill I've never even seen.

6 months of trying to get medical records! Phone calls are not taken. Messages are not returned. Emails are ignored. Finally had to go in person. Now waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes! Never seen a more disorganized hospital

BEWARE! INSURANCE SCAM! My grandmother was brought here, received no treatment was not offered her regular medication. No nurses to be found, refused to allow my grandmother to get up and use her legs! Which are functional if used regularly. Every phone call the nurse made to other patients family members all the same “They are good, doing good happy to be here getting better” which was not the case. Definitely ignoring specific instructions from family members which I get it to a certain extent. If your patient isn’t doing to good and a family member her has been with them this whole time doesn’t hurt to consider it. “Nurses” kept telling us “your insurance covers no worry” when in fact they were actually in the process of transferring the insurance over just to see what they will get paid for. We have good insurance why couldn’t she be transferred to her regular hospital? No explanation, and no treatment, Nurse call bell rang for hours and no nurses to be found, when brought to one’s attention she walks into the room and walked right out. When asked for supplies she walked into supplies room out the other door and never to be seen. Seems to me this is what she does her whole shift! Avoids patients by walking the halls. I know the insurance thing doesn’t sound right but trust me something wasn’t right here, my grandmother never has issues or the type to blame workers but even she felt like they didn’t want to help her, no medication was offered, she went in for falling on her right arm no one ever found out what was going on, we finally were able to withdraw from the hospital made us sign a paper “we refused treatment” when they actually denied us treatment and left my grandmother in bed for days didn’t allow her to get up or use the restroom. No nurses were available or anywhere to be seen. Please be careful if your parents / grandparents end up here the longer they stay the more they get paid, and the sicker they are the more they get paid. Already been home 24 hrs and she’s already doing better my heart breaks for those who were calling about their loved ones trying to get an update. While the nurse just brushed them off knowingly doing a lazy job and neglecting patients needs.

UPDATE: just checked medical records they also tried to receive back pay on medication 2+weeks when my grandmother was only there 3-4 days and didn’t even receive medication 50% of the time

I had my baby here about 5 days ago, scheduled c-section; had thee most amazing experience! Everything went smooth - everyone was super professional. The nursing team in labor and delivery and all other staff who worked around the clock to make sure we were comfortable accommodated to our liking were amazing! 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic hospital! Recently took my dad to the ER. I've never been here before but have been to several other area hospitals. This one is by far the best. The food here is not just edible, it's actually good! My dad had a broken TV in the room and they said that they would have it replaced. We figured that meant eventually, but less than 24 hours there was a new TV installed. They have been very responsive to any request we made and any delay was reasonable. I understand having to wait because there is a code trauma. Thank you for taking care of my dad!

Edit: my dad was taken back to the hospital again. Although he ultimately passed, they did everything they could. I have no complaints. Thank you for all you've done.

During past experiences as an inpatient on the East and West Wing at this Hospital, not only the care but the rooms themselves were the right set up. Unfortunately, this time I saw a doctor at the Emergency department and got admitted to STATION 45, almost, a “ county hospital room”, although the nurses are very friendly and professional The rooms are horrible, I am sharing a room with another fellow but his family didn't care about safety no facial mask, and in a tiny room 14’ X 14’ this patient had 7 visitors some of them were coughing sneezing, it is madness, all in this room plus my wife and I.
We informed one of the staff members about the crowd and we were told that there was nothing that they can do.
Corporate and administration office seems that you have security staff not doing their job.
For this time I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL.
Coming thru ER and need to hold you for two or three days the hospital will send you again to station 45, almost a “county hospital room”.
