Huong Lan, Fresno CA

Really good pho and excellent service. A bit pricey but the portions were huge. We also tried the egg rolls and those were very crisp and tasty. We will be going back again.

Huong Lan originates in the San Jose area. They have at least two restaurants here in Fresno. It’s a dependable place for quality Vietnamese pho, banh mi & noodles. The food always tastes fresh and is served in generous portions. Very fast & friendly service. Definitely a good entry point into Vietnamese food if it’s new to you.

This location works well for to either meet for lunch or just to grab a quick, healthy bowl of pho. Just grab a menu and pick a seat. They’ll come around to take your order. And then pay at the cash register when you’re done.

My absolute favorite place! Pricey and kinda wish if drop down just a bit. They are worth it. Love the manager here. Very sweet and nice. Best pho and sandwiches in town. Thai tea always hit.

Liked there sandwich been there once next I'll try their pho let you know in a week or two

My husband placed an online order not realizing that the only location that takes online orders is the other one across town on Fresno street. When I showed up to pick up the order here, we discovered that the order was placed at the wrong location. The nice cashier at the front, Jill, called the other location to cancel and refund the order so we can place the order and pay at this location that we meant to order at. It was completely our mistake and they fixed it, just like that. Gave them over 50% tip for the help. Love their food! Thank you Jill!

I love this restaurant compared to the other Huong Lan. They do have the best service and portions.

Everything here is good fresh veggies tender beef just outstanding soup kills any virus and bacteria infection.

Did you know that every member of your party getting their order around the same time is considered an "accomodation? "

We were a party of 2. I got my order, and 20 minutes passed and my daughter still didn't have her order.
I went to inquire about her food. The cashier/waiter made the excuse that they were busy and it was coming out shortly.there were 3 other parties in the restaurant (4 people each) and were already eating before we got there. It was not busy. Even takeout or pickup was just a trickle. I frequent the other Huong Lan locations on Fresno and Kings Canyon for years and ordered the same items regularly and we've NEVER had an issue of getting our food at around the same time -even when they are at their busiest.

Before even making this post, I spoke with the cashier/waiter upon paying and politely and respectfully gave feedback that would help improve their service and better their customers experience which was: they should serve ALL members in a party at about the SAME or REASONABLE time so they are eating together rather than 1 eating while the other waits (we might as well have sat at different tables and been a party of 1)
He gave the same response and suggested we let them know next time so they an accommodate us. I said we are not asking for an accommodation, it's good practice in business overall.
IF on the off chance they unintentionally forgot her order, just be upfront and honest. Mistakes do happen. So my advice-not this location-unless you want accommodation to eat at the same time.

On June 26 around 2pm, my wife and I went there for 2 Viet Sandwiches and 2 drinks. The restaurant took 55 minutes to get the Sandwiches ready. They served 3 other people that ordered to go sandwiches on the spot. 3 other people picked up to go orders. A family of 5 got their order of Pho 45 minutes after we ordered. Absolutely disaster of a restaurant.

This place has terrible service and should be ashamed of themselves.

Delicious lunch and great service. Garlic noodles with shaking beef. Rice plate with pork. Pork spring rolls. We'll be back. (Not sure why the website says they're temporarily closed).

This place has really nice staff. The menus are at the counter and on the wall beside the counter (at least for the sandwiches) which makes it easy to order. They have great options of food and the boba drinks are great.

Let me tell you the customer service is horrible.from taking a phone order super rude.the small girl in the front yeah never going back… order was wrong and she did faces at my co worker when picking up the food.she is so rude to the other employees to… talking to them like they are nothing… when trying to talk to someone about the problem she kept trumping to over talk me and the other employee… worst cst service ever.order before 1 and got our food 10 mints before 2… will never go again

I called in an order and accidentally went to the wrong location. When I got the correct location a few miles away, my sandwiches were on the counter but my fried rice wasn't ready. I asked if the sandwiches were mine and since I already paid and tipped for my order. I wanted to eat my sandwiches while I waited and take them out to the car for my hungry family. They told me they were not ready. After just under one hour wait that was supposed to be 20 minutes, he hands me those same sandwiches that have been sitting there for over 40 minutes. I took my order to the car where my family was waiting hungry and I opened my sandwich to find it's cold and soggy on the inside with a VERY SMALL portion of meat and dry hard bread. The other location used way more meat and it was decent. This was so bad I had to ask for a refund on my order. I was really hungry and I didn't take a bite of that mess. Horrible service. Skimpy on meat with dry hard stale bread. Avoid at all costs. If I could give 0 stars I would.

If you are looking for a delicious bonmi sandwich this is the place! Their pho is also very delicious!

This place has good food and the price is good too. Highly recommend especially if you love Vietnamese food.

My family and I always get our pho here and it was our favorite place to order all of our foods. This place is not the same anymore like how it used to be. For some reason, their foods doesn’t taste the same especially their pho broth it has no flavor and it taste all water down. I’ve given them so many tries and I’m so disappointed!

I’ve given this restaurant and this chain several tries. The meat always tastes funny, the pho is cold, the service is mediocre at best. I’ve even tried to dilute the taste with spices and and sauces and it’s not worth it.

I recommend SaiBaiDee and Lime N Basil.

Terrible. Don’t go here. The waiter, if that’s what you even call him, came up to us and said what do you want. And almost all the tables were dirty.

I went with my family to this restaurant. Upon walking in a girl between the front counter and seating area would not move and asked us to get our own menus from the counter. We seated ourselves. There were 3 dirty tables present. After a while someone did clean them but along with our condiments on the table, nothing was wiped down. There were food splash marks over everything. My husband was not blown away with his pho dinner, didn’t even finish the broth. He also tried and didn’t like or finish the shrimp/beef spring rolls. My daughter ordered chicken fried rice. The rice looked like pilaf with a little bit of egg in it and the chicken appeared plain. I didn’t eat because for once an Asian restaurant didn’t have any vegan options. I had Thai tea with boba instead and the tea tasted bland with slimy boba. I actually give this place a zero. I’m glad there was nothing for me to eat.
