Hyatt House Cypress/Anaheim

Worst experience ever here. I do not recommend this place at all. Unless you want get money stolen. The worst reception. She never picks up the phone and when she does her excuse is that alot people. Yet I had to call with my own cell phone and literally watch them ignore my call and there was noone one there.and once told them exactly what they where doing she acts dumb.she works there in the morning. Brunette. No manger there to even help with dysfunctional personal. When asked for towels and such.we never got. Never again. And I thought honestly they would be good company that cares for there customers staying there. Yet the personal there working dont. Definitely will leave same review to corporate to fix this.noone should have a terrible stay here. Hopefully this gets fix but don't see it happening

Very nice room! We had a king room and had a living room which was awesome. Hotel staff was great, and I love that they had single beers and wines for sale in the lobby. The cons are related to the location- there is a chili’s next door and a few other spots to eat but nothing much walkable or within a short drive. The pool was a nice bonus that I was t expecting. Price was a bit high but like I said, it was enjoyable.

The room was good.

The desk people were really nice and helpful.with one exception:

One young woman, slightly heavyset, height about 5'3", African-American, seemed to have some kind of issue with people of Asian descent. I believe her name is Jackie. Not sure what the issue is, but she could use a little diversity training.

But other than her, everyone else was great.

Pros- price, pet friendly and there are 2 pet waste stations in each side of the hotel. Room is clean.

Cons- wifi almost not working, you don't need alarm water pipes sound will wake you up at 6am. Ac is old make noise and go off randomly. Windows not locked if you have kids don't consider 2or3 floors, room smaller than expected.

Nice have free parking and breakfast for this price range. But breakfast is not as good as expected. Just was okey.

Everything is great, but the wifi is stressing me out right now. It took me 3 minutes to get here and write this review.

Very bad smell in the room like old wet carpet smell. Cleaning up every 3 days for a over $200.00 dls per night room. Really?

Considering that Covid is still lingering it’s way around I expected the rooms to be much cleaner than it was. We stayed in a two queen bed suite (which was VERY nice by the way) BUT.we brought our own Clorox wipes and Lysol spray to disinfect the room in our own and literally every wipe that we used came out FILTHY.every counter top was dirty. Every touched area was dirty. The toilet and bathtub were disgusting based on how the wipes were coming our very dirty. On our last night there my wife also told me that she seen a roach come out from underneath the stove. The location of the hotel was great considering we were there to visit California Adventure. The setup of the room was exceptional as they did have a full size kitchen with full size fridge, oven/stove, microwave, dishwasher, and sink. The living room was separate from the bedroom. I was just very disappointed because the room was VERY FILTHY.

Standard midrange hotel. The room is smaller than what I am used to, but adequate. It has enough power outlets for all my electronic toys.

The major issue I have is that my room is only serviced once every three days, during the pandemic. Meaning I got less service for the same pre-pandemic price. And the coffee maker in the room did not work.

Another gripe was the security deposit, which was $100 per night. Yes, the deposit is fully refundable, unless the room was trashed. My goodness, whatever happens to the single $100 refundable deposit for the entire stay? Did people go out and trash hotel rooms in 2020?

Well, one nice thing at this hotel was the free parking.

First of all let me start off by saying I say that this property MANY MANY MANY times so this review is the real deal. My last day did not go so well they stole my gold ring out of the drawer five minutes after I checked out I’ve barely returned the keys went back inside remember I forgot it in the nightstand drawer and they want to act like it’s my imagination everything is made up and all of a sudden the maid just clean the room and it was gone how convenient. NOT EVEN 10 minutes passed! Horrible

I like this place a lot. They have laundry with two washers and two dryers on every floor. They have a gym that is got the necessities, treadmills, bikes, and dumbbells. And they serve breakfast every morning which includes a hot meal and you can also grab fruit, cereal, yogurt along with milk and juice. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the way they furnish them with a desk, desk chair, comfy chair, mini fridge, coffee maker, and I cant recall if the room has a microwave, but they definitly have one downstairs by their snack area. And save the best for last, all their staff was very friendly, accomidating, and personable. That's what took this from a4 to a 5 star rating for me. Can't wait to go back!

We came here for the weekend and were greeted by the friendliest and nicest front desk employee, Marie. She went out of her way to get us the best rooms and didn’t hesitate to do it. It’s been quite some time since we’ve had such a great front desk experience. With my recent bad luck at other Hyatt hotels, it’s such a relief to experience such quality customer service. Management should be so grateful to have such an outstanding person to represent their brand.

The room was very spacious and as a small family, we loved the full kitchen and large size of the suites.

They appeared to be much more conscience of Covid safety than the other hotels I’ve recently stayed at.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our getaway to the OC and LA area. There are also many outstanding food options nearby.

Clean and nice environment. Unfortunately there is no dine-in breakfast as the restaurant is closed. Only take-out available.

Clean! Friendly, good area, complimentary breakfast delicious and close to many restaurants and shopping.

First of all, the front desk people who checked me in 05/23/21 were very helpful and nice.they put me in a room with a kitchen and stayed there for 10 nights.i extended for another 10 nights but the blonde lady in the front desk moved me to a smaller room without a kitchen.i asked her if i could just stay in the same room since i have been there already for 10 nights so i wont have to move all my stuff and she only replied ‘i cant do anything about it’ without even trying to do something first or try to see if my request is possible or even just pretend to do something for the customer. I said good morning to her, she did not even reply or even smile.she should not be in the front desk.

One of my favorite places when in the area. The full kitchen and sofa bed makes it a comfortable place to hang out with family. Safety has been a Hyatt priority and appreciate the pre-ordering of breakfast because that is a highlight of staying at this location.

The name Hyatt with, not Hotel, house, get inside and realized make sense, super king size bed, plus sofa convert to double bed, capable any size and numbers of family and friends for over nights and big refrigerater and regular and micro wave oven help to take care of stomach, with good view & 2 TV and easy parking, make comfortable house like home

Carpet smell to bad I notified front desk she say I its normal we stay two day the smell is still there
Other then everything is ok iam pretty old clinte but this time I am not happy

A hotel that has room.for improvement.

- Poor Internet at best.
- no hotel breakfast
- rooms where still dirty
- no shampoo/conditioner
- no coffee

Rms are spacious though.

Stayed for a month. Kind staff. Unfortunately COVID has limited the experience by closing the pool and gym.
