First of all I think when we reserved our room, they should of told us that they had no valet parking, no concierge service, no one to take our bags up to our room, no cleaning woman in sight, not one restaurant was open, not even for take out and no room service. We had to self park in the parking garage. When we went to the elevator through the second floor there was a homeless man sleeping on a bench inside the hotel. I did not feel safe, it was so deserted looking. I was so sad that our favorite hotel was not at all the same. I don’t think we will be going back again.

I love this Hotel and their Customer Service, this was my second time staying and everything was Fantastic, even on Valentine’s Day they were never too busy to give me prompt service and I’m so happy they opened the pool!

I arrived around 7pm for a 1 night stay. Check-in was very smooth and took about 5 minutes. The receptionist informed me of the amenities and hours of operation, as well as effective parking techniques. Parking is $20 and in a covered garage. The property was quiet and well maintained. The room was properly cleaned. There are signs encouraging mask wearing. Each floor has key only access, which helps keep the property controlled. Everyone seemed friendly and inviting. I stayed in room 960, overlooking Capitol park, and there was a beautiful view of the Capitol. The tv has white noise, which I recommend as the outside noise at Capitol park began around 7am. I did not see luggage carts, which would have been useful, but I also did not request one. Check out was smooth as I was allowed to drop my room keys in a box at the parking exit. I would recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel. A little too dark on the inside, hallways smelled. For $199 a night was disappointed that they didn’t have travel size bath soap - not very Covid friendly arrangements with that! Overall, not sure I’d book again due to lack of amenities for the price. Also - paying for parking? Really?

Service was excellent. Room was clean, sheet had a small "what I thought was a blood stain" on it. The "clean" washcloth had a fake eyelash in it and there was a long dark hair in the toilet. Again the service was excellent.

This is the place to be! Come downtown sacramento for great food, beautiful scenery and great places to see! But make sure you're staying here bc this is pure heaven! Restaurants, lil snack shack and Starbucks all in this Hyatt! Spacious and just absolutely gorgeous. Wonderful, polite and full of energy concierge and services! You've gotta stay here to enjoy your visit I'm sacramento!

Nice hotel with great views.
The staff are awesome and from what I've seen follow all Covid guidelines and maybe even going a step further by having you sign with disinfected pens.

So I've never actually stayed at this Hyatt, but it's a beautiful hotel. My review is for their Sunday brunch which my friend and I go to when we want to do something a little special. It's an inexpensive treat for such an amazing spread of food. You can either have your eggs cooked to order or just get them scrambled from the buffet, which has just about everything you could want in a brunch. But the pièce de résistance is their french toast! Let me tell you, it's sooooo good! With blueberry topping and warm, buttery syrup, my friend and I just drool over it! Top it off with a mimosa and you are guaranteed to be happy, full and well served by their wonderful staff.

This is one of the premier hotels in the Sacramento area. It's location is directly across the street from the state capitol so it's safe for an evening stroll. There are also many eateries in the area stores and boutiques) the rooms are about what you would expect at this price point. The cost comes due to the proximity to the house of liers cheats and thieves. Sorry, couldn't resist (that's not to single out either party, that covers every last one if them).
Anyway, if you want to be near the Capitol go for it. They do have a parking garage up the road otherwise good luck.
This is a fine hotel and I would recommend it if you need to be in that area. Otherwise there are nicer locations for the money with better parking.

1st off, I would have loved to give this place 5 stars based on the excellent level of service I received from Marylin, the front desk clerk. But I chopped that down once I got to my room and found out we had no microwave. Often times when you stay in hotels you may eat at nearby restaurants & may happen to bring food back. I had to go downstairs from the 10th floor every time I wanted to heat up my food & request access to their microwave. I have never stayed in a hotel with no microwave in the room. -2 pts.

I’ve been going here for years. This time it was for a wedding. The property did a great job with social distancing while still making the event elegant and comfortable.

Had an issue with the room my family and I were checked in to and with one call we were moved, no questions. The staff was friendly and welcoming, always ready to assist. The pool area is very nice, seats and lounge chairs were marked to indicate whether it has been cleaned for our safety. A bit pricey, but it's one of the nicest hotels in Sacramento.

Excellent experience. Ashley is AMAZING and went above and beyond for us. We desperately needed clothes washed and she personally handled it even though their laundry service was done operating for the day. Such great customer service!

First time in California coming from ARKANSAS with my family and really didn't know where to stay, but Glenn made sure him and his staff would make our visit awesome. I would recommend this place to anyone! But the people here isn't like any other place, I will be coming back soon! THANKS YOU GUYS!

If I could give less than one star I would. No concept of customer service. I have always loved Hyatt Hotels, but this experience will lead me to find a different brand.

Staff extremely professional and helpful. The Vines restaurant served delicious food in their outdoor patio, every precaution taken for COVID. Room was spacious, quiet and comfortable.

There was a man behind the front desk who described himself as "the man who answers the phone when you call" who was wandering the halls without a mask and shaking guests' hands. Absolutely unacceptable during a global pandemic.

I’m a Hyatt Employee of another Hyatt and got a great discount rate. Met Ashley who knew 2 of my managers from the hotel. Got a rook on the 13th floor with a view of the park and the Capitol. Of course great food from Dawson’s to go both breakfasts and lunch. Thanks Hyatt Regency Sacramento I’ll see you again.

Stayed for a company event. Nice room, nice hotel amenities. However, I did not enjoy the closeness to downtown. Did not like waking up to loud drums on a Sunday morning for some city event.
