I stayed at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport for 3 days in September 2023. Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport is located just steps from San Francisco International Airport, taking less than 10 minutes to travel. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to the airport every 15 minutes, providing great convenience and economy for guests. You can see the San Francisco Airport from inside the hotel, and you can see airplanes taking off and landing, so this hotel also provides a great view to its guests. The restaurant inside the hotel is of course expensive, but it was nice because it was a convenient place to eat delicious food. The staff were friendly and the interior of the hotel was clean.

Short two day stay but the hotel is beautiful, the design is great, coffee and food are good, cute little gift shop. And that shower is great! Not a lot of water pressure but two heads made it easier to wash my long hair! Friendly staff and the area was nice, I didn’t hear the planes or anyone else during a convention they were having.

Went here for the CSU Night. Good location, beautiful hotel & parking.
I've been here many times over the years for meetings & conferences.
This was the first time I had an issue upon arrival and departure. All issues had to do with parking.
Upon arrival, there was a HUGE backup all the way down the street on both sides. I'm not sure if the hotel was unprepared for the large crowd for the event or what. It literally took us 15 minutes to make to the garage entrance. Thankfully, there was plenty of parking available.
Departing, I went to pre-pay for parking & was charged $22 instead of the $10 that the event advertised. It wasn't until after we paid that we were told we needed validation for the $10 price. I'm not totally blaming Hyatt for this & have contacted the event organizers to let them know this should have been advertised along w/$10 parking fee warning. The Hyatt could have had someone near the pre pay machines to validate as I later found it was in a whole other location w/a whole other long line!
Now, we are finally in our cars on our way out. To speed things along, security was waving us through (which was great), but they didn't even take my $22 ticket. I'm more than pissed I paid that much for a parking ticket. Especially one, I ultimately did not need to show anyone. Sigh!

Overall a very nice hotel. The room was pretty small but it was clean and comfortable. I booked a bay view room for the night, what a view. Definitely worth staying if you're looking to stay close to the airport. Complimentary shuttle service to and from the airport as well.

Stayed here for a conference. I think for the price and if you need to be in this area, it isn't bad. A few annoying things:

1. Not conveniently walkable but near bus stop and has a shuttle that runs frequently to the airport.
2. Hotel feels a bit old
3. Rooms face either ugly highway or prison-like atrium
4. Hotel restaurant beers are all like $12. Cocktails are relatively normal in comparison.
5. Restaurant menu, in my opinion, is relatively unappealing. But I also don't like dairy or typical sandwich fare. I asked for the key lime pie and it was out of stock

Overall, these aren't huge complaints. I would prefer to stay closer to SF next time but this isn't the fault of the hotel; if you need to be near SFO or Burlingame this location is fine. There's good chinese spots nearby to eat at.

Julie Roh and Robin Lee taking me to their 2nd home for years. It was great to see the friendly employees and the great service they provide.

We opted for bay view room. The guy at the front desk was polite. But the bedding was too old. It was completely dusty. We could see the dust throughout our stay. Whenever we lifted the blanket there was dust all over. Seemed quite an old room. Wasn't so hygienic. No complementary breakfast. Check out time was 12 noon. That was quite convenient for us. The location was near the airport. But nothing much to explore around.

A typical business airport hotel. Not too far from the "port" but the shuttle service is awful.

It's been a few years since I last stayed here. The renovations look great, the staff were helpful. I even lost my wallet and they retrieved it and got it back to me. New restaurant, and the food is great!
Update 7-28-23 (no change)

Update 7-30-23:
I am here for a dance event. I've been coming to this hotel since 2009 for multiple years and my last time here was 2018. Things were going just fine until. After the all night party Saturday this year I went to the pool area to relax and recover (starting 6am). 2 hours in, I moved to the outdoor furniture area to lay down and watch a show on my phone, I dozed off.

I was awaken by hotel security quite rudely and was told that sleeping was not allowed there. (Not listed on any rules as far as I know and there was maybe a few people there.) So I apologized and sat up to continue watching my shows. The security person returned 30 minutes later to ask if I was a customer of the hotel and then asked for my name and room # (with immediate, no hesitation response).

She walked away and talked to her radio to relay that message. My presence clearly was causing a problem to the point, and I was getting annoyed.

I then received a phone call 10 minutes later from the hotel but a gentleman who immediately asked my name and then first words right after was described a person that fit my description by race (Asian) as someone impersonating me. I cut him off really quickly and said that was me. He just said ok, just checking, enjoy the rest of your stay.

That was very off putting, to be interrogated like a squatter or criminal, instead of being asked politely. I know this is not a skill set for most places, and it should have been approached with curiosity, not assumption. I was out the another hour (4.5 hours total) before I went back in. Just wanted to detail that out here.

This is my go-to hotel for all my business and pleasure trips to San Francisco. Hyatt Regency is one of the few hotels by the SFO that has a more secured indoor parking garage. The staffs are professional. Rooms are always clean and the indoor temperature is perfect.

This is a really beautiful and uniquely laid out hotel. Half of the rooms surround a center atrium with an earring area that lets in a lot of natural light. The room was modern and updated with lots of great tech amenities. Comfy bed, lots of pillows, small couch, great blackout curtains. My favorite part of the room is the shower. It was big, all shower-no bath, great double showerheads, easily understandable controls, refillable shampoo/conditioner/body wash, good lighting, great water pressure. I wish all hotels did full showers, who wants to bathe in a tiny shower/bathtub? Even as a mom I'd rather have a full shower than a tub combo. The staff here has all been very kind and friendly, always making sure we have everything we could need. The pool is large and pretty with lots of seating and a larger cabana with couches as well. Also has a nice hot tub. Location seems convenient for the airport and is also near a few great areas for food. We found some nice kid-friendly activities nearby, like Curiodyssey. My husband came here many years ago for a Physics convention in college and it was a great venue for a convention as well. The overnight parking is expensive at $40/night, but that's probably normal for the area due to the airport. But factor that in while you stay. We would definitely book here again if we were in the area!

I had two rooms with weak air conditioning, I checked the air system in both rooms and the air filters were absolutely filthy, looks like they haven’t been changed in years. This is a horrendous reflection of their attention to basic maintenance, I strongly recommend avoiding this place. Posting photos of the filters in both rooms (both on 8th floor).

For paying a bit extra we were surprised there was only complimentary coffee (we drink tea) there was no tea, and you had to pay double the price for the water. Food and snacks were good and tasty although extremely overpriced. Got all the same amenities we would get at a cheaper hotel. Very quiet and dark so we had an amazing sleep.

I didnt stay there, i just go in to take the airtrain that takes you to Bart. The guys opening the main door are very cordial and even not being a customer because I ask them first if i can take the elevator, they direct me how to get there in a very nice professional manner. And the people i
encounter inside alsl very nice

Room not cleaned. No valet. No room service. And you can’t order outside deliveries to come to your room. None of that really amazing customer service that you’d expect from a great hotel (the folks managing the tables in the restaurant are an exception to this statement). I was sitting 2 seats away from the coffee cashier and she wouldn’t sell me a coffee (nice person, but think more generously about customer service). The overwhelming vibe is that everyone plays in a strict lane with more focus on the lane than the customer. I sat in the bar for 3 hours working on my computer and on one offered me anything to drink or eat.

This is basically a Motel 6 disguised as a Hyatt.

This was a nice option near the SFO airport. I took the shuttle to and from, and it was nice and came often. Everything that you would expect from a Hyatt.
