On the first day the internet connection was almost non-existent, and on the second day they did not make the beds for us. It is really an ordinary hotel. Nothing to do except take a shower and sleep in the bed.

Loved the hotel! Looks very nice and well kept. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom size is very small, and those sliding doors pleaseee.very loud! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful the way it should be. Not many locations nearby to shop or eat. There is a deli and bar inside the hotel. Parking could be improved there was a line of cars to leave and everyone was having issues. Took longer getting out of the parking lot than checking out. Overall was a pleasant stay.

We drove to California for my hisbands birthday excited to hit some theme parks! We had a week of fun planned! Unfortunately we had to cut our trip short as the first night at the hyatt i cut the heel of my foot in the hotel hot tub! I couldnt walk without causing the laceration to start bleeding again! We had to cancel our theme park plans and head home. Hyatts idea of fair compensation was to refund the points i used for the room, give us an additional 15,000 points (hyatt in my area are 23,000 for one night), pay for our breakfast, and refund us for a room upgrade that they charged us for that we did not get! This ruined our whole vacation! We drove 1500 miles just to have turn around after 2 days and go home! The cut was bad enough that upon emailing my dr pictures he made me an appointment! Alot of good points will doe when i will not be staying here again! For such a well known hotel they definitely could do better!

This is a review of their hosting of the California Extreme arcade and pinball expo. The expo coincided with a 49ers preseason game, and the place was an absolute zoo. Although we were supposed to have access to parking, the whole area was blocked off by police and Levi's stadium personnel. Attempted to call the hotel while driving around to request suggestions; no one ever picked up. Ended up parking at off-site stadium parking for $60. Obviously, the hotel doesn't control the 49ers schedule, but they need to have a solution for accessing their parking lot and front door during football games. I will never again attend any type of function here.

Don't be fooled by the undeserved 4 star rating of this hotel. The hotel and guest rooms are extremely outdated. The pictures posted on their website are not an accurate depiction of the current state of the rooms. You'll find it difficult to relax by the pool if you'd like to enjoy drinks/food as they are strictly prohibited. You will be threatened of security intervention, which is not exactly the hospitable treatment youd expect as a paying guest of the hotel. You cannot even bring a cocktail/food over to the pool from the bar. The restaurant serves overpriced subpar food. In all honestly, you are better off staying at Hyatt Centric or AC by Marriott.

Service sucks. There are many cases in which employees make mistakes and do not apologize, but instead become annoyed. There is nothing you can leave a request for at the front desk. Inconvenient because the shower head is fixed at the top. Refrigerator not cool. The room and swimming pool are ok. The Regency Club was not operating here, and the deadline was undecided.

Dear Hyatt staff
Thanks front desk and housekeeping.
Unlike other big hotels, Hyatt was most hygienic; even in our crowded bridge tournament. Wonderful and helpful staff - Stephania & Jannelle- in particular!
Loved how spacious the rooms and the common area were. The entrance to the rooms were very thoughtfully spacious. Other places, u have to huddle in. I casually went to the top floor by mistake- very grand view of the beautiful San Jose Hills. Location is great. Lots of diverse eating places near by. Decor of common areas and the rooms - very appealing!
Laudable efforts for recycling; they use paper cups - not ugly one-use plastic cups. All toiletries are in planet friendly refillable bottles. They are tastefully and properly placed in the bathroom. Toilet flush very water conserving. Carpets are clean and not smelly. I came for a bridge tournament- (tho also a Hilton member) - I got a great rate.

Now what I didn’t like. The restaurant stinks - no good food especially for vegetarians. Spent $50 for one entree and one appetizer and one soda! Yes I am willing to pay for the ambiance; but I can’t pay to eat food that tastes like plastic. It was horrid. The room coffee is good. But no proper creamer. One measly packet. They have a Pete’s coffee bar - that charges the earth!

Wonderful gym -24 hours I believe. I heard that the pool and hot tub is also lovely. I forgot my swim suit. Though I was so busy enjoying my bridge tournament!

All I’m all - good place except, no breakfast on the house, except for the expensive Pete’s coffee bar. If you have a car it’s ok - you can go out and eat. Next door is Hilton - cheaper and with breakfast included. Please switch to paper straws. Every drop of water adds to the ocean. Please save our earth!

Thank you Hyatt

I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Santa Clara while visiting some family near San Jose. Overall location was great, but everything else was pretty average, which was surprising for a “4 star” hotel. They advertise digital key and check-in at this location, but I still had to check in at the counter to be issued a physical key. Not a huge deal, but they also had nobody working the Elite member counter and had me wait behind non-members. I mean, again, not a huge deal but why advertise this as a nice benefit of being a member if you’re just treated as a regular patron?

The parking situation was frustrating and ridiculous, $30-$40 a night and the room key/ticket didn’t work when trying to leave, so we were stuck ringing the buzzer for help and eventually had to go inside to be handed a new ticket that still didn’t work!

Lastly, no free breakfast and the restaurants on site were overpriced and the food was bland. The charcuterie that is “sourced locally” was literally folded deli slices and unwrapped blocks of cheese you’d buy at the grocery store. I can’t say I’d recommend staying here if there are other options in the area, Hyatt or otherwise.

Great place if you're going to events hosted there (food is pricey but, if you're on an expense account.)

I reserved this hotel because it is conveniently next to the Levi's stadium. It was a surprise trip for my wife. I wanted to get there and relax before we went to the game. We arrive at 5pm and we are told they had a huge group check out and didn't have rooms ready. We were told we might have to wait 45mins and that they would text me when they had our room available. They did give us a free drink for having to wait. My issue was that they knew they would be impacted by fans, but yet, just decided to make us wait for a room we paid for to be able to go in at 3pm. We never got a text so my wife decided to go and see if the room was ready. Finally we were able to get to the room. My issue is not with the personal or the room itself. My issue was that they weren't prepared with the room.

We were in an ADA room as I'm disabled. At 9 am I called down to the desk to see if I could get a late check-out of 12pm as I needed a bit more time to pack and shower. I was told yes and to come down and have  my key reprogrammed. At 10 am a maid came to clean the room saying we had already been checked out. I went down to the desk personally and found out that they had indeed checked us out and rebooked the room for someone else's "early check-in. " I had to vacate the room without getting a shower and had to have the bellman collect my belongings and leave them in a hallway until my husband could collect them. I was embarrassed and humiliated.

It's an older hotel with some room updates. The room is spacious but the bathroom is small and has weird configuration of the sink. The bed was comfortable. The only drawback was that the carpet felt dingy.

The pool was clean and has shallow area for small kids. The spa was nice & clean too. There is a towel vending machine that uses room key to get the towel. The location is perfect for Levy's stadium & Great America. There's VTA station nearby.

I stayed at the Santa Clara Hyatt over the past couple of months for a total of four times.each time there was something that went wrong but given the staff the benefit of the doubt, I attempted to stay a few more times in hopes the service would improve but things got worse from there on out. This last stay from August 4th to August 6th was the last straw!

I spoke to Courtney a couple of days before my check in and asked if she could take the $40 per night parking fee out of the $100 incidental fee AFTER I checked out on August 6th. She agreed that would be fine and she said she typed notes into my account for the next representative to review and assured me there would be no problem. My check-in experience was horrible! Jasmine "assisted" me with the check-in.she did the complete opposite of what I was expecting her to do and as a result, her negligence caused me to experience a bit of a financial setback which should not have happened in the first place.

I brought the issue to Courtney's attention in hopes that she could address it. She claimed that she reached out to the accounting department but the person who initially handles these type of situations was "on vacation" and there was no one else that could assist with the manner. She later called up to my room and said she would be in talks with someone that could handle the situation. Long story short, my situation was not resolved and as of today, August 8,2023, I still have not received my $100 hold from the incidentals that was taken out of my account.
The hold usually releases to my account the following Tuesday after check out.

I noticed one of the front desk clerks who claims to be a manager giving me attitude on more than one occasion.not sure who she's representing but I will remind you that karma does have bad effects.

As a guest, I do expect to receive the highest level of customer service and professionalism but the staff at this location has defaulted on more than one occasion.
. Such an unfortunate shame. All I ask is that
the staff honor my requests as they should be honored with not only myself but every guest there. If something isn't right, I will not hesitate to bring it to your attention. If you get upset because you fail to do your job, please do not blame the guests.take a look at what you as a company can do better to please your guests.

Stayed at Hyatt for a concert at Levi’s Stadium. Great location, parking was easy. The staff were dressed wearing the performers t-shirts and greeted us at the parking lot. The process was super smooth. Checking in was easy and efficient for the volume. Much easier than some places in Vegas. Elevator capacity sucked and was the crutch of the stay. Room service was basic (burgers chicken strips can cocktails beer wine avail). Room was comfy king bed with view of stadium. I was nervous being next to ice machine but the location wasn’t bothersome and I didn’t hear a lot of noise. Back to staff…every person we ran into was awesome. Top shout out goes to Jasmine at the check in counter. So welcoming. Second place goes to the room service fellow. Great dude sorry I don’t know his name. I’d stay again under similar circumstances. Wish I visited the pool. I hear there’s a bar and music.
