Hydraulics International Inc, Chatsworth CA

I have to give this company 2 stars. I recently went in for an interview. The interview went great however when it came down to discussing salary, it is way less than the average salary in the LA County/ City per job title and experience. The interviewer tried to make me believe what they were offering was fair (very low pay). Asked me to "look at the big picture" I would be saving a little in gas however that is not reasonable for the cost of living these days or the amount of work they expect from you, not to mention my 6+ years in the field I applied for. Going back and reading all the reviews, I can see now how they are mostly accurate. If you are looking for a company to work for that doesn't pay well, and tries brainwashing tactics this is the one for you. The big picture for me would be making what I deserve and not taking a Sales man approach when negotiating. I hope this is helpful.

Billed me twice. I've called 4 different numbers and no one is answering

Man this is very disorganized company have parts and object all over the place outside and inside.plus the PPE they offer here was really bad I would always have paint on my face and hands. Something AQMD should really checkout.

These guys and gals are true craftsmen and this place is one of the last real wood window and door mills left in California. Always such a joy to work with!
