I Love Bagels reviews
20The owners (the old white couple) are racist. They only hire white people and they all talk bad about the Mexicans that come in. If your not white this place will embarrass you and talk behind your back thinking you won’t hear. Horrible people that work here. Don’t come here unless you want to face racial discrimination.

The people who worked there were friendly and courteous and the bagel was quite tasty, I ended up getting bagel sandwich with two eggs and it was quite good so I got nothing but good things to say.
My favorite bagel place, hands down. I've been going to I Love Bagels since they had their location in Vista. I live in LA now, but look forward to visits to Oceanside so I can get a bagel. Everything is great. Alan holds the employees to a high standard, which shows up in how good the food is. From the bagel dogs, to the cream cheese, to the sandwiches, everything is phenomenal.
Pregnant wife ordered a tuna salad with no sprouts and got sprouts. She can't eat that cause of risk of bacteria contamination. This is the 2nd time they've gotten the order wrong (other time they left out an item). It's frustrating when you can't trust food handlers to not handle your food properly.
Friendly staff, quick service and affordable prices. Their garlic herb cream cheese was the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely be back!
People say it’s just as good as anything in New York. I’ve tried it a few times and it’s pretty average. Nice people though!
My 2 favorites are the jalapeño cheese and the French toast bagel. Been here a number of times and they never disappointed. I Love Bagels
Very expensive I bought a turkey, egg and cheese bagel that was almost $9 an when I asked to add tomato they said it was extra. The sandwich was not even that filling.
Everything was very cordial and a pleasant atmosphere and the special and friendly customer service, everything was very good, I always recommend it to my friends,
Good bagels, but their prices have gone through the roof. A single plain bagel with cream cheese costs $5! A bagel with salmon spread is $6.50!
Having previous experience in a bagel shop in New Jersey, I recommend this location. I feel confident in the entire business and management and the staff are invested in each other. God bless.
When they get it right, it’s decent. I would say about 40% of the time we don’t get what we ordered. This morning I ordered a breakfast bagel: jalapeño bagel with egg, cheese, and ham. What I got: a plain bagel with one thin egg and cheese. So disappointing. We will officially not be going here anymore. Too much wasted money on getting what we didn’t order
I have patronized this business for years. However, the customer service has gone down the gutter. They are rude, unprofessional and blatant liars. They have lost me as a customer and I suspect other customers will soon follow me.
No question about it, this is thee best bagel shop in California, and possible in the whole country. But it doesn’t matter what they are ranked, just know their bagels and sandwiches will taste outrageously delicious, if you decide to try it out sometime. The owner has put a lifetime worth of effort into his business to craft a bagel experience offering the best of foods. Give them a try in the morning for an egg cheese and bacon bagel breakfast sandwich, or noon to grab a fresh deli style bagel sandwich that is filled to the brim with the finest of ingredients, or maybe even a hot Rueben sandwich to save for later in the day. They have a very friendly and welcoming staff. I ordered a Turkey-lettuce-avo and bacon on a plain salted bagel with swiss, and it was
Amazing Bagels. Even when there's a line, they make it quickly and to order. Highly recommend!
I've been coming here for over 5 years. These are the best tasting bagels in the county. Period. On a national scale, they are a 7 out of 10. For a bagel to be a 10, the outsides need to be crunchy browned, usually requiring cooking on each side on stone surface. Then the inside stays soft and gooey making it chewy. The best bagels are decidedly not like bread. But these are very satisfying and few if any modern shops make an old world 10 bagel anymore.
Constantly disappointed with this Bagel location. Wouldn't take a mobile order, and when I went in had to give my order 5 times and still got it wrong
Ordered a Cheddar bagel with ham and Cheddar Cheese and an Egg Bagel with Cream cheese. Got with egg on Cheddar Bagel which I said 5 times not to put on.
Real boiled back east style bagels! I would say New York but I know the owner is from Jersey.
The real deal when it comes to bagels. The owner, a former New Jerseyite, has thankfully brought his family knowledge to Oceanside of how to make a "real" bagel.just like being home! If you want to try a real bagel, it's worth the trip and, most often, the early lineup. The staff is friendly, and the selection is expansive along with a breakfast bagel sandwich and lunch sandwich menu!
