IAA Fontana reviews
5The worst auction I have ever been to, if I could give it 0 I would give it. I have no complaints about the girls in the office, but after waiting 2 hours to load, I go up to ask and they tell me that the car is not there, it is in another lot.
My first time at the Fontana location was amazing. I inadvertently pulled into the loading zone when I arrived and the loader operator (Mark) came over and explained where I needed to park before getting my load out documents as well as what I needed to do afterwards to get my vehicle loaded. Mark was very friendly and greeted me with a big smile in spite of my mistake. When I went into the office I was met with a warm smile by Darlene who made the pickup process super easy. By the time I got back outside Mark already had my vehicle ready to load. All together I was only there for about 15 minutes and I look forward to my next transaction with the good people at Fontana IAAI.
If I could give it 0 stars I would!
IT IS THE WORST AUCTION TO BUY CARS!
#1THE STAFF: it is super rude and incompetent, the receptionists are very despotic, it seems that they pay for your vehicle, they treat you badly, they snatch your papers, they hang up the phone on you, and they take the payment in a very bad way!
#2 BUYERS FEES: They charge you for the use of the internet, the door, Service fee and another Escondido fee, the fees may vary depending on the vehicle you buy if it is a truck 3500 you pay fees as a cargo vehicle and it is 15% of fees, I bought a truck for $31,500 and ended up paying more than $37,000 dollars.with all its hidden charges.
#3 METHOD OF PAYMENT: They do not accept cash, only money orders and cashier check. Let it come from the dealer you are buying with, if you use money order the first "5 do not pay the fee" then each of the money orders with which you pay are $20 dollars each which is ridiculous charge after charge.
#4 CUSTOMER SERVICE: this is one of the worst, the phones ring and ring and they never answer, I spent more than two hours trying to talk to someone and when I finally did, they hung up on me and when they answered me again they told me they couldn't answer He asks me to call customer service, what was the service expert doing in GENERAL!
#5PICK UP THE VEHICLE:
The person who drives the forklift does not care about damaging your vehicle even if it is already damaged, they do it on purpose because they are not careful when inserting the nails of the forklift, my truck left without steps without rear lights and front lights, the rear light, how can that happen? Yes, all that was shown in the photos!
#6 I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT IN GENERAL IF YOU WANT TO BUY A CAR FROM THE AUCTION CHOOSE ANOTHER OTHER THAN THIS.
In most locations it is the same, the ladies are very despotic and rude.
Yvonne Sanchez is an amazing rep! Very polite and quick. Saved us a headache by handling the situation.
