Ice House Midtown, Sacramento CA

My girlfriend just moved in to Ice House, and I am blown away by the cleanliness and modernness of the apartment. I went with her to meet leasing staff, and Amanda was so nice! She was quick to answer any questions, and she even provided additional information that made it easier to move in. She took extra care to explain parking and the complimentary gym and offered to answer any additional questions that come up. I hope to get to lease there once my current lease is up!

Leasing with Ice House has been the easiest process I have ever experienced. My leasing professional, Amanda, took the time to give me a tour of the property. I toured an apartment that was being prepared for the next tenant. The apartment I toured was so clean that it looked like it had never been lived in. I met their maintenance team and watched them work briefly. I don't remember the guy's name, but he was very detail-oriented. He repainted the walls, checked all plumbing and electrical, and ensured that even the smallest of holes were patched. Amanda then took me through the rest of the leasing process. She was very friendly and quick to reply to any needs I had. She made sure that I knew where we were at in the process at all times and had her share of the paperwork filled out in less than a day, despite being busy with move ins and the quick turnaround on getting my apartment ready. The world needs more Amandas. 10/10 would recommend.

So far so good! I moved in recently and the leasing team were good resources, helped with my moving needs, and to get arranged. The complex is clean, secured well, and near public transit and retail - all great!

There are better options nearby and around midtown if you are dead set on the area. The amenities are limited, old, and outdated. Appliances and cabinets in the apartment need serious updates and each month there is always something wrong. There is only one elevator to go up and down and no service elevators for move in and out. It was beyond annoying to have to wait 5-10 minutes every time trying to get all your stuff. And there is always something wrong each month. Either the elevators are down or the call boxes aren’t working or the gates to the garage or entrance is down. Peoples pets urinate everywhere even in the building. This has been a huge problem apparently. I would give it a zero star if I could. To make things worst they are also increasing rent and charging utilities separately starting next year. This was the only selling point they had. Now the place is going to cost just as much as all the newer complexes around with more amenities

I love Ice House, the cost for rent is very fair, the amenities are beautiful and the location is EVERYTHING! Amanda is the community director here and she is both knowledgeable and personable. I can’t recommend this complex enough

Amanda was such a big help with my move. She was very accommodating with parking which shaved an hour or two off my move in. She was quick to locate some extra equipment that was really helpful. I’ve seen her a few times in the area and she’s always been helpful and seems to know everyone one in that whole little area around Philz. I love my little loft. Thx Amanda

My experience working with Amanda and Yoana were 5 stars across the board from start to finish. I’m relocating and they made the process seamless from scheduling tours to answering questions hands down the BEST customer service I have experienced when searching for a new place to live.

Ice house is a clean and well taken care of facility. The environment around it is super pleasant and gives a great downtown vibe with close restaurants and bars. Very happy me and my fiance moved here.

This has to be by far the best experience I’ve ever had looking for an apartment. Amanda and her leasing agent were super helpful and kind. Moving from NY to Sac was already super stressful but they made my apartment hunting so smooth and exciting. The apartments are so nice and spacious inside, and have upgraded appliances and beautiful flooring. The area is so hip and modern with so many restaurants, cute little shops, and a grocery store. This experience across the board was a 10 out of 10! It’s a no brained I rented a 1 bedroom and plan to stay a while.

Very nice apartment complex, it’s clean, secure, and has a lot of amenities. It’s also a great location.
