My sons been coming here since February and the experience has been the best I could have hoped for. He tried another studio and it was nothing compared to our experience with Ideal.

The masters here at Ideal treat the kids with respect, which teaches them to respect others along with many other positive values and disciplines.

The classes are a perfect fit for the age groups in terms of length and physicality.

Can’t imagine doing martial arts at another school after our experience here!

I really recommend this place, my kids have learn so much at Ideal Matial Arts not physically but educational there way of teaching is great and you'll be surprised of how fast kids get along and behave. The masters are great you can tell how they love to teach and the passion of teaching the kids i don't regretted having my kids here they love it and have made lots of friends, I highly recommend it you wont regret it.

My son joined a few months ago. We had tried soccer and baseball but he seemed disengaged and never looked forward to playing these sports. From the first class at Ideal Martial Arts he was so excited to return. All the Masters are knowledgeable and skilled. They know how to engage the students in a way that is fun while providing enough structure and discipline to support their individual skill growth. They have excellent management of their classes and treat each student and family with respect and kindness.

The Masters here are exceptional! They are highly skilled and experienced in taekwondo and have a genuine passion for teaching and guiding their students. The Masters teaching at Ideal Marital Arts have brought out a genuine love and appreciation for learning in our child while attending classes here. Self-defense, weapons-techniques, martial arts and sparring classes are taught in a very friendly and welcoming environment. Students are taught respect, self-discipline and are honored by means of them earning their higher belts during their Belt-Ceremonies. The value of IMA’s extensive curriculum is priceless! I had a pleasure enrolling my 2 kids at Ideal Martial Arts. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience for us. Teachers are truly remarkable. They possess an incredible level of expertise and knowledge in taekwondo, and their passion for teaching is evident in every session. They have a remarkable ability to engage with children, making classes fun, interactive and educational. Kids really enjoy classes and keep asking to stay for extra class each time.

My teenage sibling attends Ideal Martial arts and has had the best experience of their life so far! We've gone through a fair share of extra curricular activities ranging from gymnastics, track, and even other taekwondo studios. However, nothing has sparked their interest and ignited their passion quite like this studio. The leadership is incredibly receptive, respectable, and knowledgeable. They keep individuals of all ages deeply engaged and I can tell that the masters all care about each student's mastery of the art as well as their personal inner growth. Every student matters here. No one gets left behind. I even enjoy sitting in the stands and watching classes take place because of how fun and engaging each class is. Highly recommend!

Our daughter joined the classes at 4 years old, she is now 5 and we can see some amazing skills she's taking home each class. Not only has this been great for her social skills, but it has also helped her focus at home + have some more control over her overall balance. She is excited even a year later, to go to class every week! Master Van and Master Nick are amazing instructors and would definitely recommend this studio!

A very great place for all ages of kids to learn self defense and time off them electronics. Great prices for many packages to fit a family spending. They have a great masters that care and devote their time to each child. I recommend people to bring their kids out to do a free trial with them and you will not regret it.

My son loves it was his first time, Instructor Van is the best! My son wants to go 5 days a week.

Ideal Martial Arts really lives up to its name. It’s a great place for people of all ages to learn Taekwondo and other aspects of martial arts and self defense. The masters/instructors are knowledgeable and enthusiastic and strive to help students of all levels grow and improve their martial arts skills, as well as their confidence and self discipline.

Our kids have been studying with these masters/instructors for many years now and I can honestly say that, not only are they talented and passionate about what they do, but they also truly care about the students. They take the time to give each student time, attention, and instruction on what they can work on to improve their skills. It really feels like a Taekwondo family.

Great new place in San Gabriel. Instructors are friendly, knowledgeable and create a positive environment for all of the kids. Super clean as well.
