IHOP, Escondido CA

We were sitted right away. We waited like 15 mins before we saw our waiter. Then he automatically started speaking in Spanish to me and my company. Our drinks came to our about 8 mins after we order them. We placed our food oder with our drinks and our food wasn't hot when it came out to us. It was still warm enough to eat but not enough to enjoy too the end because it was cold by the time we finished. The food had good flavor. I don't blame the cooks but our waiter for the poor service.

The food is always excellent at IHOP. The only problem they have is they're understaffed, so the food took longer on a Sunday morning. Thank you for the hospitality, our meal was very enjoyable.

Food was very good but prices were a bit high. It's never busy. Most times only a few people are there.

My dad got food poisoning from the chicken fried steak, and there was no cheese in the crepes.

Did a curbside order the young lady tried to say my car info wasn’t shown because she didn’t wanna come out in the rain!

Never again…employee Javier needs to learn the difference between fast service and rude service. He never gave us a chance to ask about an order, we literally say one sentence and he ran away. Management needs better training for him. You need to make your guest wanted and comfortable, not being rush on everything. We came during breakfast to start the day and it got ruined by a single bad experience…. Your in the hospitality business, know your part.

The server was attentive and happy. The restaurant needs upkeep. And the food was not good.

Food and service was very good. Not a long wait, server was excellent. Didn't catch her name but she had purple highlights in her hair.

Had a very bad experience didn’t even get to order food due to staff letting friends and family go first smh. Got there at 940 am to put us on waiting list for a party of 8 and at 1040 am still had no table and said we have no table available for a party of 8. Then why didn’t they tell us that from the start instead of wasting our time and watching how the waitress let family and friends go ahead of us. Sorry IHOP you need to step up your customer service and communication skills.

Waitress forgot my orange juice, had to ask 3x for napkins. Didn't bring jam for the toast. My husband had to get up and look for our waitress 3x.

After waiting 20 mins to be seated, we waited another 20-25 mins until the waitress came to take our order. We placed our order and for an order of 4 of us it took 45 mins to get our food. Not once did the waitress let us know there was a delay or that she would check on our food. At one point my wife asked another waitress to bring us the bill for our drinks because we had not received our food yet. Surprisingly in less than 3 mins, our waitress showed up with our food. We noticed the other tables with different waiters and they received their food before us. Such a horrible experience after me moving from San Diego to Escondido. What I have noticed is the lack of presence of a manager. Not once did a manager walk around asking if everything was ok or supervising their employees. On top of that our waitress walking around with her cell phone in her back pocket. How do I know in between waiting on her tables she wasn’t grabbing her phone. We won’t be going back to dine here.
