IKEA, Burbank CA

I have yet to meet someone who doesn't like Ikea. I HAVE met people who hate putting together Ikea furniture, but that's a separate issue. Ikea itself is a design amusement park for adults. And children. And dogs apparently, as I always see a few walking around. The only reason I can give them four stars is because recently they haven't been able to stay in stock on popular items. I assume this is due to the pandemic, so I would gladly change my rating if the many unavailable items are brought back in soon.

There were many people, but it seemed to have a decent flow & movement throughout the store. The Cafe had long wait times, but that was due to the number of people vs their safety protocol. Despite this everything was setup well & decent precautions were taken to maintain distancing. Tons of ideas and products, though many items were out of stock. Still a good experience.

I was impressed how well this store is organized and managed. You walk through the furnished rooms, take a note or a picture of the item and the tag, pick it up at the warehouse, pay and you are done! We got several items. A patio table and the chairs were extremely easy to assemble, just had to unwrap, open and secure.

So much selection that its a little overwhelming but great things were available and purchases were fairly easy. Be warned though its A LOT of walking if you're checking out the showroom so if you have people who struggle with long walks, bring a motorized wheelchair or a stroller (depending on age of course).

Let me just say that Ikea is awesome. That being said, because of the pandemic, stocks are low. Most items are temporarily unavailable. I bought a desk today and tried to buy a desk chair but the armrests were out of stock and no other ikea had in stock. Try your luck, maybe you'll find what you're looking for. Don't forget to visit the clearance section.

Does ikea really need more reviews? We ate meatballs, got our steps in for the day, bought some cool furniture.and dishes and stocking stuffers.and drove home full and happy. Really couldn't ask for much more

IKEA isn't new to me. I have always been impressed with the designs, and value. I made about 5 purchases in recent. I purchased an entire vanity set $1100. Two plumbers failed to install using manual. In conclusion: customer service + technical support =ZERO. SUVISORS =UNPROFESSIONAL. Examples Lucy Katches department manager promised twice to get back with the answers Never never got back. She is practically useless in my view. Two other more or less were the same. Customer service phone never answered. Too bad

The 4 specific items that I wanted were unavailable/out-of-stock. Also workers were much better/nicer 5 years ago, and way nicer 20 yrs ago.

I would rate it higher if they had more inventory. Half the things I needed from there, were out of stock. Make the one stop shopping more difficult

This is the largest IKEA in the US. Ample parking and lots of inventoray.

Though people don't adhere to the keep moving signs, the ikea staff do a good job of keeping the lines going and keeping track of a count on the store.

Great people and great place with great products. The set up and the way the store operates is user friendly and allows you to have a productive time. I bought a bed and a bed frame which I took home and assembled without struggle.

Ikea is losing my business. We have to travel 100+ miles just to get to their store because they won’t open more stores and they won’t ship the things we need so we are forced to wait in lengthy lines just to use an elevator. No thanks. I’m done with their inconvenience. They had 1000+ people in their store today and 1 person working the food counter! Not worth it.

Good an x fun place to come with the family and shop for home furniture and decorations and the price is excellent.

The store is nice and clean. The employees are useless, rude, and they dont know where or how to find items. And they work there! Disappointed!

Don't go! The line to get in is managed cattle style like a ride at magic mountain, walking back and forth through barriers while you wait a lifetime, it gets worse. After you shop you wait in lines to check out and then the worst part, you wait in a long cattle style line to wheel your cart in am elevator to get to where you parked.one elevator to manage covid, please spare me, covid doesn't care use all the elevators use all the doors, use all the parking levels! Ikea sells nothing worth hours of my time to stand in useless lines. I will never return, ever.

I love the place. It's totally intimidating and I suggest for a first timer, to go at non peak times.or you may never locate your car again.
I'm glad for their "Earth friendly" products. Even if they have a ton of plastic items. I got a rug today made of recycled plastic bottles. I love it

Half of everything has tags that says out of stock. There are also a ton of items that aren't listed as out of stock that are, so you don't find out until you try and get them.

Nice store first time going to IKEA got lost in there trying to find check out. Long lines at check out went to IKEA in Burbank CA.

This store is clean and the employees are nice and have great customer service. Wear comfortable shoes its a big store and you will be walking for hours enjoying all the items they offer. Don't forget to stop by the food court and eat their amazing meatballs.
