Furniture Store IKEA reviews
19Unfortunately this is the worst Ikea I've been to. Their prices are high and I didn't even like anything. There better things on Amazon for cheaper price. They were out or meatballs, the floor and chairs were dirty
If you buy a kitchen there make sure that you check everything before paying or leaving the store! They made 3 mistakes on my order of 3 bottom cabinets, 1 top cabinet and a counter top. Sides of cabinets not matching color of front and wrong color of counter top. And no customer service trying to get those things fixed! Very disappointed!
Love all the crazy stuff you can find at ikea. Don’t like the vague instructions that come with the furniture to put it together but other than that I like this store.
Went in to buy a desk. You cannot just go to the section to get what you want. You have to follow the arrows which take you through every department in the dang store. Not a quick thing.
Got the wrong pillow by mistake, wasn't labeled clearly. It took me a long time to find something at the warehouse, since they wrote the wrong aisle.
Ikea food court review
Two of us ordered:
-chicken tenders $8.99: chicken was dry
-garlic toast 2 for $1.78: probably best out of everything
-meatballs 4 $1.50: ok, hadn't had them in awhile, and thought they were going to be a bit better. Barely warm
-seasonal salad $5.99: decent salad, a bit on the pricier side
-sparkling water $1.69: I asked for a cup for water, and got randomly charged for sparkling water. Didn't realize until later.
Lines move very slow here. Food is below average. Both of us had stomach aches later that day and a bit of nausea.
I would recommend to just get your Ikea shopping done and skip the food.
Pro tips: Unless looking for inspiration, start with marketplace. Snap photos of item locations while browsing spaces. Makes it easier to pick in the end. Use in-store wifi & any terminal or phone to check availability & locate your product quickly. Roughly memorize the map and use shortcuts to navigate. Happy shopping!
I've obtained many goodies from this death maze. Over the years of perusing the furniture jungle sadly prices have risen drastically.
Ikea has been the go to place anything home related item…reasonably priced and good quality!
I love the furniture but the cafe is overrated; Spending a family of four was a bit over at $50.
I love the Ikea store! Many ready-made solutions for the home, a delicious restaurant, its own unique atmosphere!
I liked looking around they have everything. They have plants. I didn't know they had plants.loved it.
Haven't been to an IKEA in almost 2 decades. Boy have I been missing out. Tons of great stuff here for not so much money
No Kalles for months now. (summer 2023)
At least not when I have called to check stock or stopped by.
Disappointed.
Needed to get one item. Dreaded going to the big box store, but it was quick, good directions and the people were helpful.
My visit to IKEA was simply enchanting! As an old lady, I was initially unsure about navigating such a large store, but from the moment I entered, I was captivated by the beautifully displayed furniture and decor. The staff was helpful, I believe the woman who helped me the most was named, Janet, but I do apologize I may have forgotten (curse my aging brain! LOL) The atmosphere is welcoming and the experience left me with a joyful heart. Highly recommended!
Ikea is un-American.
IKEA wants to make a good impression on customers, but after seeing their work conditions and requirements they obviously don’t want college students to work here. College students need jobs to work their way through school, unfortunately businesses such as Ikea and Macy’s who don’t allow their workers to go to school by requiring full availability.
Of the Northern CA IKEAs this one is the best organized, easiest to find parking, and navigate overall. Click and collect is easy to use by car or in person. As-is section could use better staffing, attentive employees. It’s often difficult to find someone to help answer questions or retrieve as-is online reserved items. The store needs to stay open until 10pm or at least 9pm. If you arrive at 7 they are already pushing people out forcing everyone to line up which effectively gives you half hour to shop and half hour to make your way out. They say they close early cuz it dies early but that’s an error - it dies early cuz they close early and start making announcements telling you to leave which is unwelcoming!
