12Quality food. Fresh ingredients every time. Authentic Italian food. Have been coming here for a year now and still haven’t gotten over the Mr. Dan’s pasta! 10/10 recommend trying.
Tonight I had the ribeye steak with mixed vegetables and mashed potatoes. I was very surprised by how tender the steak and veggies were. I've had a difficult time trying to find good steak in LA and I think I found it. My only critique is that I ordered the steak medium rare and it came back medium/medium well. Normally I'd be pretty disappointed but the steak was still tender and flavorful so I was happy. I'll be back for sure!
Best pasta I’ve had in LA so far omg the taste of the tomatoe sause I’m usually so picky about the sauce and omg I gotta tell you it’s 100% delicious.pasta as well I’m definitely taking my friends with me ️
Always drive by this location when I go to smart and final so I had to try it. I ordered pizza for the kids and chicken Alfredo for me and the wife. Food was great service was great only thing I didn't like was the table was super wobbly. I can honestly say the food was better than olive garden.
This is a little place tucked away in the cut. The food is reasonable and FAB. I had the seafood pasta and my guest had pasta and meatballs
Absolutely delicious. I loved the Tagliatelle Bolognese. The pasta is made in house and the sauce was incredible. Wonderful customer service. They even brought out complimentary roasted cauliflower soup for us. Highly recommended!
Though this place is located in a seethy, depressed area, we decided to visit anyhow. Boss Lady had the Fettuccine with Shrimp and I opted for a Pepperoni Pizza with fresh Garlic and Pineapple. The food was exceptionally good.
This establishment looks to be owned & operated by a tight knit family unit and the cook (Owner's son, perhaps) put forth a phenomenal effort in preparing our meals. Many people order food to go, as well as delivery apps showing up for orders day & night. Seems that hundreds of A+ ratings both here and on Yelp! Surely paint an accurate assessment as we can attest to their validity.
This quaint environment provides a great atmosphere for good conversation over a phenomenal meal.
Our family was waited on quickly, received our drinks and bread shortly after putting in our drink order. Water and Soda comes in bottles and are opened by the staff upon arrival.
The pizza crust was light and crispy. The cheese and pepperoni were cooked well and served hot and fresh.
The Alfredo sauce was savory with depth and paired well with the thick noodles. The pasta was freshly made and it complimented the grilled chicken nicely.
The chicken parmigiana consisted of three slices of grilled chicken, covered by a plethora of homemade sauce nestled under an evenly layer of baked cheese. The vegetables were seasoned and cooked well and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful.
Definitely recommend!
Great, authentic Italian food. A special place, where my family likes to celebrate special events such this time it was a graduation .
I don't have enough world to describe the quality of food and service this place has
All I can say is that I would recommend this place 100% there food is hand down the best Italy food i have ever tried
Middle of nowhere restaurant that charges outrageous prices for pasta. Ordered the "special" black truffle pasta and it was super salty and could barely taste the cheap black truffles. $60. Would not go again.
I always drive by Wood and tell myself to stop by, I'm so happy I finally did. The patio is so quaint and the food was great! A friend and I ordered the margarita pizza to split and it was perfectly cooked, not floppy or greasy. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs to share as well which we weren't as wild about, the meatballs were pretty hard/overcooked but the flavor of the sauce was great. The service was good and we easily found street/metered parking nearby since the parking lot was full.
