Love the new staff! Super responsive to Tenants needs & requests. The hard work this team puts in to keep our Complex Beautiful and safe again is VERY much appreciated!

Very nice apartments and also good area to live. The office employees were very kind in helping me and giving me a tour of the apartments. Many thanks to the young woman who helped me and who speaks Spanish.

I made an appointment to tour the apartments and the staff made it so easy and were very helpful. All staff members were professional and answered all my concerns. Made me feel comfortable and secure during my tour.

Elevator does not work most of the times. Our AC unit did not work throughout the summer even after complaining multiple times.

I will not recommend this place.

Have been staying here since past 4 years. Love the property and the location. Love the amenities and neighborhood.

The unit I have has plenty of sunlight and is peaceful. Dreaded having to go to leasing office every year for renewal, but the new management is way BETTER. Sam has been super helpful when I had to renew the lease and had a change of roommate.

Would recommend staying here for the cost they provide compared to nearby properties.

The fire alarm going off at random time has stopped compared to when I moved in, so that’s been a relief. I hope it continues to be the same good experience.

Although the maintenance team was very responsive and arrived in a timely manner, the flooding issue in our unit has not been resolved. We've had 10 flooding incidents since December 2020 up until recently July 2023. Because of the water damage we have requested (3xs) they send someone to check for mold and unfortunately the maintenance team has not responded to my request.

New team. Manager stays on top of things and communicate with everyone about the building. Maintenance work is actually being done! Community is a lot cleaner now.

Recently moved in with family mid July. Angela and Sam made the move in process a lot easier and they invited us to their first residents event in two years! Taco Nights! Neighbors are also friendly, a lot of people in the pool during the weekend. Pool is nice and warm perfect for night swimming. Trader Joe's is across the street and shopping mall.

The leasing team is great in helping out and supporting the residents. However, the maintenance response time and service for emergency request is pathetic.

I scheduled a tour, and got multiple emails confirming that the tour was happening, but when I showed up there was nobody there and the front office couldn’t help me.

I am currently living in Ilara and trust me it's not worth it. The apartments are nice and cozy, but the leasing staff is AWFUL. Especially Sam, who I think is the boss here, he is rude, apathetic towards resident, and will probably be annoyed if you show up for addressing your issues.

My luggage was stolen right outside my door when I moved in, followed by few other packages. Leasing staff won't take any responsibility and would gaslight you into thinking that it's the resident's fault. I had to install my personal security measures in order to protect myself from thefts.

Maintenance takes forever to come check the issue and probably another month to come fix it actually. I was given an apartment with a broken kitchen panel and it has not been fixed till now. I am in my third month right now.

They say that they are understaffed but they themselves would close out the leasing office at their own will.

I honestly would have moved somewhere else if I was not bound by the lease.

Save yourself some peace of mind and don't choose this apartment community as your home.

I will try to edit this while I am here and if I face anything else, because honestly things can only get worse here.

Received a generic reply from the community manager. Do you really think this will work? I mean they just post the same darn generic reply for every negative review posted. I am surprised how did they even reach a rating of 3.1, I saw multiple employee accounts rating this community as 5 stars which is BS.

You want me to contact you directly? Guess what I did, I gave them each and every detail and tip about my stolen luggage and your property manager didn't even care about looking into it. I told him all of my stuff that was stolen was delivered by FedEx and suggested him to check if the truck that delivered it was the same. Guess what he did not even pay attention to what I said.

Tell your team to be more empathetic and concerned about the community they are employed in, we residents pay rent for the amenities that your staff can't even maintain, forget about upgrading it. I have my parking at the fifth floor and the elevator for me to reach there goes down often and is it fixed early? Never! Is like having a working elevator for 1 week and then it goes down for 2-3 weeks. Absolutely abysmal!

Spacious and Convenient Apartment in a Great Location.
I recently moved out Ilara apartment complex and I have been thoroughly impressed with my experience throughout my stay. The management team has been incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, from scheduling my tour to moving in to moving out.

The apartment itself is spacious and well-designed with modern finishes and appliances. I love the open concept living room and kitchen, which is perfect for entertaining guests. The bedrooms are also generously sized with ample closet space.

The community is quiet and peaceful, which is great for me since I work from home. I appreciate the amenities, especially the fitness center and pool, which are well-maintained and always clean.

Overall, I highly recommend this apartment complex for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient living experience. The management team is attentive, the community is welcoming, and the apartment itself is well worth the price.

The leasing agent, Rina, is phenomenal. I felt so informed and welcomed! I took to tour to get an idea of what to expect if I were to rent and I really look forward to seeing if moving in is possible. Even when other clients and residents were needing assistance she was communicative, patient and kind. Excellent worker for sure! Definitely deserves a pay raise!

Not good management. I made an appointment online to tour an apartment, went same day. They told me apartments not available, there’s a waitlist and I can’t even tour it. No one informed me in the emails. They wasted my time. Do not recommend. The office management was also rude and not helpful.

My moving out experience has been horrible.

I am very disappointed with office management. I have been asking for my deposit back after vacating the apartment and it has been more than a month since I moved out.

I sent 5 emails, made a visit to the office personally, and followed up so many times, in spite of that I have no response on when I will get my deposit back.

When it comes time to sign lease, they want the money asap, why cant they extend same urgency when tenants move out?

Lived here roughly 3 months short of 2 years and moving out soon. I'm gonna try to focus on what living in this apartment complex is like, since anyone can tour and decide if the apartment is good/price wise. I feel like a lot of reviews are mostly overly negative or positive. Gonna give my candid feedback and a comparison to some other 10+ apartments I toured in the past week as I was moving out.

Pros:
- Honestly the A1 layout is probably my favorite layout out of maybe 20+ I've seen recently
- Gym is open 24/7
- Maintenance is responsive (usually 1-2 days)
- Staff is onsite (pretty low bar, but some places I toured don't have that anymore)
- I haven't had any package issues

Cons:
- This complex is extremely dirty. There are stains and spills along the hallways. The only clean areas are along the first floor near the leasing office.
- Trash room is constantly filled and overflowing.
This I feel is two fold, both the residents here just refuse to fold trash and properly throw away their trash. Second, the trash room and the frequency of trash being taken out doesn't seem to accommodate the number of people that use it, since frequently the chute is full and trash has to be left on the ground.
- The apartment wifi in public spaces is pretty bad
- Its hard to get in touch with the staff. They don't have an email posted address posted (check the website). Everything needs to be in person.
- There are occasional issues with the fire alarm, where it has randomly ran a couple of times last year. It has not happened recently in the past ~4-5 months.
- The BBQ and pool areas are quite dirty
- In general, I don't think the complex is very well maintained

Nits:
- The garage has sooo many ramps. There is one on every uphill section and on floors 1 and 2 an additional on even level section. This seems common in Milpitas, since two other nearby apartments I toured also have ramps? I don't why though, to me it does nothing.

Overall, I would give living here a 3.8/5, but I also had a pandemic lease price until now, so take that with a grain of salt. There are a lot of cons listed, but to me I just live in the apartment so its fine.
