Trucking Company IMC reviews
7I like almost everything What is not good is the FONTANA yard, it is very small and has a lot of land:)
This company is growing so fast. I'm going on 4 years of driving for PDS, and I am glad to be a part of this company. I'm here for all of it! I will be here as long as they'll have me.
Top notch courteous, safe driver's who represent the company well, and take care of the company vehicles. I had a conversation with a guy I noticed regularly checking and washing his truck at 3 a.m. Between loads, I want to say Ruben? Lives in Beaumont or banning? Great spokesman.
We were lied to by Pacific Demurrage Services. We are a startup import business with limited transactional history. We were told that we could pay ACH if they couldn't extend us credit. On the day our vessel arrived, they told us they wouldn't pick up our shipment despite all our documents and everything being in order because they no longer accepted ACH. They may not help with drayage, but they'll sure help you with demurrage.
Fast unloading. Make check in 7.00, wait dock 30 min and they finished unloading 40 min
(PDS-COMPTON YARD) This was my 1st job after relocating from Atlanta, GA to Los Angeles, California. I started two weeks after orientation. There are some amazing ppl who work there, and then you have your others. The one who stood out to me most was Isabella (PAYROLL) she treats drivers as if she’s above you, and you’re a second class citizen. She’s the definition of office politics, eavesdropping in on conversations, Micromanaging outside of her job duties, and I felt as if she had personal vendetta against me. What she said about me was nothing less of discrimination, but all is forgiven. I know she doesn’t represent the company as a whole, but she definitely tarnishes the image they are trying to portray to future employees. The ports are extremely slow right now, so the hours, and money wasn’t there. For the most part it was a very relaxed environment, but you’re definitely UNDER PAID in this position as a Port Driver.
