The gym in general is great, the staff is nice and the equipment and free weights is always clean and in their spots.but the jacuzzi is disgusting i would never go in there but i see it every time i’m there when i go to the sauna

After many years involved with the YMCA, I joined In-Shape and went this morning for the first time and it was nice to enjoy working out again.

A Low 3, located in downtown Victorville, great equipment but expect the parking lot to have undesirable people wandering about looking for your change, they charged reoccurring monthly payments without my consent, and it's in the ghetto

I update this review every couple months. This gym has definitely fixed some issues we’ve had in the past and the majority of the staff are definitely friendly. There is a healthy amount of free weights, cardio machines, and lifting machines. Also the size of the gym is definitely a plus in this day and age.

If I could think of one negative for the gym it’s that for the last 2 months the wet sauna has been completely down. For someone who would like to use it almost every day I go to this gym it’s a real bummer almost everyday I see it’s still broken.

I am glad that they have been making progress on the rest of the gym, new lights, huge tv section for cardio (if you’re into that), and I see them testing the water in the pool often (which I recognize would be important even though I don’t swim). Overall I’m happy at this gym, especially over the cheaper gyms in the area. Just wish they’d fix that wet sauna and find a new professional specialist who can keep it running.

Of your more of the shy not out going type of person then you would feel uncomfortable that's how I felt at first but then I got use to it and met really nice cool motivating people big gym lots to choose from unlike crunch fitness gym

I've been in the AV for 30 years and was a member of two other gyms and have to say In-Shape Palmdake is THE best gym in the Palmdale! Very clean.

The gym itself is nice and most of the staff are as well. However, some of the staff are rude and they consistently change mask policies. Then approach people mid set while benching high weight to ask them to pull there mask up in a rude manner. I get they are doing their job but you can be kind about it. Especially when originally they advised that the mask only had to be on your face not over your mouth or nose for months.

This is the best gym I have ever joined and I have been a member of at least 7 different gyms in my life. It isn't just good for the price, it is a great gym period. Great amenities classes stuff for the kids, adults and on. Clean, great price too

Love the pool classes. For someone my age its healing. I have fibromyalgia and it helps 95% for my illness. Missed it so much when it was closed. Jay is best! Full body work out.

I was reluctant to come back due to everything going on. It’s pretty clean but I think they could have less people standing in front and more wiping things down/replacing cleaning cloths. Most of the staff actually cares to follow guidelines, it’s the people working out who lack gym etiquette. I think the staff here is amazing, the clientele is pretty inconsiderate.

We’re all adults, put equipment away when you’re done, throw away your own trash/pick up after yourself, be respectful of people working, and have common courtesy for others. Simple.

Love that they have an indoor pool. The crowd can be young and social at night after work, which is frustrating for folks whom are actually serious about their workouts. Also lots of vain girls take videos and pictures of themselves in the dressing rooms in front of mirrors that reflect back onto unsuspecting folks whom are changing. Tried multiple times to have the staff combat this to no avail. Just protect your privacy when changing.

Best gym in town for cost, swimming, steam room, dry room, Jacuzzi and much more. The price is right to get in and best of all showers on the go!

I recently moved to the area, and did my homework on the local and available gym locations. I felt in shape met all my needs and was very competitively priced.

Much cleaner now that they have a new manager she is making great changes. Love swimming in the pool, but I wish they has more aqua fit classes and would bring back aqua zumba.
