Independent movers sent two trucks to my house with three strong friendly team members. They were very efficient and didn’t waste any time. They wrapped all my furniture carefully and nothing was damaged. They even moved all my heavy planters and tons of other plants that they put in a separate truck so my house items didn’t get dirty. I highly recommend them for a stress free move.

Dave and his team are awesome. I called and got multiple quotes from different companies before choosing Independent Movers. Dave’s estimate on time/cost was spot on. He called the day before to reconfirm. The team showed up right on time and were courteous and professional. I also really appreciated that they did not have a bunch of extra fees on top of their hourly rate. Other places I called would charge hourly, drive time, gas, mileage, charge for any wrap or wardrobe box etc. Independent Movers only charged for their hourly rate for the time plus drive time. They brought all the wrap and a wardrobe box etc.and was included as a courtesy. No gas charges either etc.all in all 5 stars all the way from the phone call quote to the end of the move today! An extremely happy repeat customer! I had hired them for an entire apartment move almost 7 years ago, and was suddenly faced with an unexpected small move with little advance notice. Dave was amazing. Called me right back and was able to get the movers and truck available for me when I needed it. They did an amazing job as always, taking great care with items and even wrapping furniture pieces. They also offer warehousing of items now, which also came in handy. If you're doing a move in the area, make them your first call!

I am very displeased with independent Movers we started out with independent Movers with contract in November they promised us a $3,000 moving charge the charge was a settled statement before we knew it they subcontracted with A&M Movers A&M Movers charged us additional$2,000 for our move from Colorado to Arizona when asked about the charges all they could tell us is we will lose our deposit which was half if we did not go with them we also gave them a date and it was a appropriate time of three days they left half of your furniture behind even though it was given by hand when asked when they were going to give us our next furniture they left behind all they could say is it would be additional cost it is past the given time we our on our fifth day and we are still waiting on our furniture at this time there is no furniture we are sleeping on the floor and eating what we can for we do not have our dishes or pots and pans when we called and asked the company when they were going to bring our furniture all they could say is it's there choice we will give you a call and let you know when we have it on their way I would not even give them one star

I recently moved from California to Oregon and interviewed several moving companies. I was extremely impressed with David Alvarez, the owner and decided to go with his company. David responded to my calls quickly and professionally. He sent out Mike and Abel to help with my move. They were on time, professional, friendly, helpful and did whatever they could do to ensure that my move was as easy and successful as it could be. All my furniture was wrapped and treated carefully. Each box was loaded and unloaded with care. I could not have asked for a better moving company and would recommend them to anyone looking to make a move. My thanks to all of you!

I hired Independent Movers for a recent move. They showed up on time and went right to work. They had my house loaded in a matter of hours. These guys really know how to stack a truck. When we arrived at the new house they unloaded our things carefully and even had pads on doorways and stair banister’s great job guys. I was really impressed with the service I received and would highly recommend Independent Movers to anyone needing moving services.

The owner David and his crew were great. This is the third time we have used him. They were on time and price was way less then our other quotes. The temperature was 102 that day and they were extremely friendly and professional. Would strongly recommend independent movers!
