They add tip by there’s own, even if you pick food from the restaurant! Without even asking.

I have been going to this place since it opened. I have hosted a party here many time for up to 50 people. They have always taken care of me and my guests. Great food great customer service. Great hospitality. 5 stars for this place and would recommend this place for every one

I know everyone's flavor profiles and spicy levels are subjective but for me, this place is hands down the best Indian food in a 100 mile radius. I lived in the South Bay for years and tried multiple spots that I eaten at over the years with a few I would call my favorite. I recently moved to Manteca and decided to give this restaurant a try based on the already provided reviews. This establishment by far better than any other Indian restaurant I've eaten at. WOW WOW WOW!

This place is amazing! The food is sooooo good. I ordered the fish pakora and fish tiki masala spicy, my wife ordered the buttered chicken mild, and we ordered pizza naan for our kiddo and we all really enjoyed the food. In addition to that the service was excellent. Manteca residents have a gem with India-4-U restaurant and I'm thrilled to call this place a local favorite.

AMAZING. I didn’t expect to have amazing Indian food in ol’ Manteca. But this was GOOD!

I brought in some older family who weren’t familiar with Indian food, and the server was very good with helping them find accessible and non-spicy options they’d like. He walked all of us through our orders, and the food was perfect for everyone.

I had the Tandori Chicken.
It was very dry and I didn't like it.

For some reason, I crave Indian food whenever I'm in Manteca. I finally had some yesterday and unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing.

The restaurant itself is decorated very nicely and the bathroom is gorgeous. The server (older gentleman) was friendly and great so most of the stars go to him.

Tandoori Chicken was super dry and tasted as if it was cooked the day before and just reheated for us. Garlic Naan was burnt and the garlic flavor was almost non-existent. Butter Chicken had the weirdest flavor but was also bland at the same time. The samosas were the only decent food item. I didn't try the coffee but was told that it tasted like it was made using instant/powdered coffee.

I hate to leave a less than stellar review but I can't recommend this place nor will I ever try this place again. However, thank you to the server for the great service!

People working here are so unwelcoming. You will feel guilty for asking for food coz they do not look like they want to work.
The food they have is so stale. The sweets they pack had algae on them. God knows since when they were sitting there. They should just close down the store at this point. THEY CHARGE SO MUCH FOR YUCKY AND SWEETS WITH ALGAE. EWWW!
Such a bad experience here. I would never recommend going here.

It was my very first time to visit here, I expected something different but unfortunately the food wasn’t good specially the butter chicken as it was super red and taste wasn’t great. The garlic naan was too small as I ate one garlic naan in like 4 bites.

This is my favorite place! The food is always so good & fresh and they’re so friendly.

This is my first time coming here. My fiancé suggested to come try because it was so delicious! I’m glad I did. I would recommend everyone to come try their dishes. 10/10!

One of the best restaurants to have real Indian tasty and delicious food. Great ambience, excellent decoration, very friendly staff and the best part is, food is cooked by the owner. I have not seen and good restaurant like India 4 U Restaurant and Bar in California in the last 2 years. Thank you Sardar ji, please keep it up.

We have been here 4 times, and 4 out of 4, the food has been absolutely great! The atmosphere is relaxing and the service has spot on. I would highly recommend eating here!

This was a fun restaurant! Few restaurants spend time to decorate like this one. Sure, some might say it was too much or a bit kitsch, but I think it made it original. They even turned on some traditional Indian music! There's really not much I'd have done to improve the ambiance other than maybe burning some incense, hiding the cleaning supply storage area, and maybe making better use of their side bar area.

Place was clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. Seating was comfortable. I will say the table to seat height ratio was a bit off. It was comfortable for me, but I'm tall and I felt kinda like a kid. I was with a few people not as tall as me and they felt it more, but it wasn't uncomfortably so.but it would be hard for smaller kids without a booster seat or something.

I will say that this is not fast food! It was a long wait. We were the only ones eating there, so I expected faster food, but it all came out around 30mins later, maybe more. Not that big a deal because we weren't in a hurry, but others would have a problem, I'm sure. I personally want this place to thrive, because it is a really cool place, so my advice to them is to bring out dishes as they are ready, rather than all at once or at least offer a free appetizer of some kind to tide people over, like they do with chips and salsa at some Mexican restaurants. It doesn't have to be expensive or time consuming, but just something to show progress and keep people happy. It might be a good idea to have a lunch buffet or standard pre-made dishes for delivery/take-out/those in a hurry. From a customer's point of view, just make sure you have time and are with understanding people. Believe me, the food is good!

There are lots of menu items and all that we had were delicious! We asked for mild, because some in are group were sensitive, and it actually was very mild, but still full of flavor. When asked they also gave us some spicy curry on the side for those who wanted more heat. Food tasted fresh. Naan and roti came steaming hot.

I already posted on yelp. Like I said there, the food is never consistent anymore! Hey 2 cooks and train them both the same. Bring the people back that used to bring in the regulars or at least have the new staff look nice and clean. The owner should be there once in awhile. Also the owner should invest his money on food consistency and service instead of making the place look so dirty with so much stuff everywhere. It's a shame. I have not seen this place busy in a long time. I don't know how your still open.
