India Garden reviews
12We ordered chicken Tikka masala for take out. It was pricey as compared to other bay area indian restaurants. Chicken was dry and hard, taste of gravy was not good either. Overall, it was a disappointment.
This is a cute family run business. So there is personalised service and homely food. Would recommend any day.
Everything we have ever tried at India Garden has been delicious and we have eaten here for a couple years now. Their palak paneer is top notch and comes with a cube of butter on it. Real Indian food often has a spicy kick, so if you can't take the heat, make sure to let them know and ask for mild. It will still have a ton of flavor and some spice for many of the dishes. If you need something on the super mild side, ask for a recommendation. Their Malai Kofta is absolutely amazing. If I could eat from here every day, I probably would. The veggie samosas are on the spicy side, but delicious with chutneys. Sometimes we order extra to make a couple meals
From the outside it looks like some old rundown hole in the wall restaurant.but we all know these are the places that have some of the best food.chicken thika masala, chicken or veggie bhirani, samosa, plain or garlic naan, chicken thika kabobs, and many other dishes are excellent. This is 100% my go to spot when I want Indian food. If you don't believe me, give it a try!
More expensive than most Indian food that I have been too in the East Bay. But the flavor for all the plates that we did try were delicious.
We went with the basics: Lamb Curry, Paneer tikka masala and butter chicken.
The garlic naan was $4 but it was thinner and the bread quality was very refined.
Very average place. I have been to better Indian restaurants in the area. The chicken tikka was not even made fresh. Chicken was rubbery, the gobi Manchuri was raw. The rest of the food was very average.
Very tasty and authentic. Loved the tandoor appetizers. It was well cooked and seasoned. Trust me. I'm Indian.
Indian Garden is a true gem in the world of Indian cuisine. The garlic naan is absolutely divine - it's perfectly crispy on the outside, yet fluffy and pillowy on the inside. And when paired with their butter chicken, it's nothing short of culinary nirvana. The butter chicken is rich, creamy and full of bold, complex flavors that will dance on your taste buds. I have to say, Indian Garden is one of the best Indian restaurants I've had the pleasure of dining at. A must-visit for anyone seeking a satisfying and authentic Indian meal in the Bay Area/East Bay!
Such a warm and cozy spot. The food and atmosphere make you feel at home. You can smell the food from main street and it draws you in!
We tried this place for dinner with friends.
We really liked the starters here- chicken and paneer tikka. Samosa is also good.
The chicken gravy was too oily, the malai kofta was good. Creamy and soft.
Overall, good flavors and good service.
Staff has no manners and extremely rude. If that does not bother you, food is otherwise very good. Not for Indians I think. After two bad experiences I am rating them.
Delicious and authentic Indian foods. I have never disappointed ordering from Indian garden.
