India's Tandoori reviews
30One of my favorite brunch places! Workers are very friendly and make you feel at home. Great for the whole family! Great tasting food.
The lunch buffet is excellent. Along with a small salad bar, there's 8 vegetarian dishes and 6 or 8 meat dishes. All the veggie dishes are very tasty and not too spicy. Garlic nan has crispy edges, chewy center and a nice garlicky flavor. And is almost never burnt.
THEY TURNED OFF THE MUSIC WHILE I WAS DANCING.
Typical patriarchal environment that bows before boring old white social norms even while crushing and stepping on their own toes to do so. I am a single mother of three young children. I have been beaten, abandoned, abused, shot (yes with a gun), been through hell and back again. I work hard, damn hard. I serve my community and my family with every ounce of my being. When I hear music and feel the liberty within myself to dance (was in an empty room aside from my children) and someone turns off the music I see fire. How dare you mother shamers, fun stoppers and otherwise puritanical! How dare you! Jai Kali Ma
The food itself was delicious and the woman server was beyond lovely but the men were disrespectful. I imagine a Bollywood star would not have the music turned down on her in the disco room like they did to this MOTHER.
I mean really? We have a whole disco room to ourselves, with loud Bollywood music playing but when a mum start to enjoy they turn it off! Then when I asked for it to be turned back on it was quite than before I started dancing. I asked the young guy with the puff in the front of his hair trying to be fashionable, to turn it back up, politely and he rudely shook his head no. Also the handsome guy with light eyes was particularly rude and seemed to be mocking me
Vegetarian friendly: 5/5
Buffet lunch: great, stuff your face you American fatties:)
Price: for the lunchtime buffet, the price is very fair.
I'm always on the lookout for delicious vegetarian food that doesn't break the bank, and this is the restaurant is it.
It was just ok. Only guy in the place and kind of wanted a beer. Didn't even ask if I wanted anything other than water.ok Smaller portions and dinner is a la carte only. So he acts all surprised that I don't want rice AND naan for $3 extra each. And the price isn't on the menu. My goat curry was 3 star as well.
Wow. Amazing good tasty food. Tandoori chicken is juicy, lamb kahrahi is quite astonishing, no smell, the meat falls off the bone. We get our events catered from here and they have a good setup.
I wish to thank Ali, Nathan, Lakshay, Nickess and Cowsheck for a wonderful dining experience I had Friday December 8th between 1 and 2 pm. The excellence of the food was surpassed by the friendliness and promptness of the staff (above). I ordered Saag Paneer and Seekh Kabob to go; it was packed for me by the time I got there. When I later at home ate part of it there were large quantities of food. They packed some extra sauce: green, brown, and carrots with holla penyo. Parking is easy. South Bound on Sepulveda; left turn at 10th, and right turn into their
parking lot. I recommend this place to you readers. Don't fail to miss it. Jerry Rothschild, Inglewood
A delightful and we'll run restaurant. Excellent food and service. I had the lunch buffet $ 13.08 including tax and a good deal at that price. I'm sad to say I had to stop eating or I would explode.that's how much I enjoyed the buffet. Neat and clean restaurant. Well it was neat and clean before I got there. Lol
Nice Indian joint in Manhattan Beach. A touch on the expensive side, but the food was good. The space is cozy and pleasant. Our server seemed like he was a bit inconvenienced by every request we made, but he was quick and friendly enough. All in all, not a bad spot.
The food quality is amazing. I came with a friend and both our dishes were very flavorful and tasted authentic. The mango lassi was delicious and had the perfect proportion of ingredients. The service was excellent, very accomodating. The decor is really simple, relaxing, and casual which makes it a nice environment to talk with company. This restaurant is truly wonderful, I would go back again and again if I lived in the area.
