Indo Ranch OC reviews
8I see you. Calling yourself a foodie, well, sir or mam, have you ever tried Indonesian food, particularly Jakarta style?
Went there recently and had a really bas experience. The food was just okey but not fresh. The serving was really small. I literally got 1 pice of meat when I ordered combo. We asked noodles a little bit spicy and they put the whole container. We couldn’t even had second bite. I had to order more food because we were hungry and had to order all the dishes separately. The serving i see in the photos looks much better then ours. End i end up paying $90 for 2 people. I will never visit again.
Great place for real Indonesian food. If you love spicy, you'll love the food. Try the Es Cendol for a sweet treat.
So glad we came across this place while shopping in the plaza! Food was pretty good, flavourful and spicy We got the Nasi Padang, chicken and beef skewers and Nasi Goreng Kornet. It was so good
Food is not great. Paratha gravy is too strong with masala and it is not enough for 2 bites.
Lamp skewers is not een close to frozed lamp skewers from Indian or middle easter store
Fried rice is good though.
Sambal with Fish fry is not even close to photos from menu.
Many choices of foods. The foods is okay. The place is only have 5 tables, one they use it to prepare food. Inside they have a mini mart that sell Indonesian product and foods.
Edit: My original review is from last year and we did go back again in the last couple of months. It seems that the cook has changed because there was a noticeable slip in quality. I don’t want to be mean, but I feel I need to amend my first review as this was unfortunately a bit disappointing. Hopefully they can improve.

Indo Ranch is so good. It seems like a lot of Indonesian food in the United States is lacking some of the special elements of Indonesian food. Indo Ranch does not miss the mark. The food is practically indistinguishable from the best Padang food you can get in Indonesia. The nasi goreng is a very generous portion. The seasoning is spot on. My bule husband loved the Rendang and to me it looked perfect tho I don’t eat meat. The food is flavorful and meat tender and every dish we tried had a little heat. We came here twice and all tried different dishes both times. We brought my son’s friend with us the second time and he seemed to enjoy it every bit as much as us though it was his first experience with Indonesian food. My son, husband and I left full and very content both times. They also have a little market attached to the restaurant. We bought a lot of harder to find Indonesian items the first time we came. It was closed the second time we came. I’m not sure about the hours of the market, but I am sure we will be back again.
