17Lots of gorgeous roses and is well taken care of. I recommend visiting this place, especially if you love flowers.

I took a picture of a rose and said this rose is like you one in a million
The weekly attention to detail, deadheading, pruning, and raking throughout the growing season is impressive.
Balboa park is great, do yourself a favor and walk over through the rose garden and take a deep breath of relaxation and beauty. Simply browse or get ideas for your own garden. Wheelchair accessible so everyone can enjoy!
It was really nice to see lots of roses at once place. It been Maintain well. Only missing picnic table around park.
The gardens are so pretty and seem to never end! I think there is every color of rose in this garden and so many to see that it’s hard to move on to other gardens!
Beautiful garden with plenty of opportunities for photos. You can take a very relaxing stroll through here. Great variety of roses.
Good place for short walk into the rose trees. Roses are of multiple colours like red, pink, yellow, orange, white and purple. The roses do not have a great fragrance though.
Love this place. You can walk and enjoy too many kinds of roses. If you love roses this is a place for you and take amazing pictures.
This place was totally awesome. The gardens were beautiful, and the rose gardens were gorgeous.everywhere we walked was just surrounded by sweet smelling roses! The squrriels were so tame, I just walked up to them and took pictures. Great experience nestled in SanDeigo, California.
This is such a beautiful amazing place located within Balboa Park. So many different types of roses and colors to choose from. It can get busy as a lot of people love to do photo shoots there so be sure to keep that in mind. But its still just a beautiful amazing place. You have the cactus gardens right next to it aswell. They also have all the names under the type's of roses they are. I really think everyone should go and check it out for sure.
Beautiful rose garden. They have info about volunteering to help maintain the roses on the info stand.and 3 beautiful round about to walk in with tons of rose varieties. There is also a large family of squirrels who live in the cactus plants nearby. So keep an eye out for the furry little guys.
Disappointed in the experience overall. There wasn't an apparent rhyme or reason to the layout or why which roses were next to the others. Also, many of the plants were missing descriptions. Merits a three because several were beautiful, but come expecting to bring your own rose expert if you want to learn anything.
Beautiful display of flowers. Walk paths are wide and very well maintained. Loved all the different roses and smelled really good.
I've never been there before and it was really peaceful and all the different varieties of Roses were awesome. I loved the Cactus garden as well. I thought the Rainbows End Roses were beautiful because they were tiny and had multicolored buds.
It was gorgeous! A wonderful variety of colors and a few different types of rose I haven't ever seen before. I would love to go back sometime.
Such a beautiful park. From the gorgeous variety of flowers and plants that adorn the park to the breathtaking sights of the surrounding hills, this park is such a gem to enjoy tucked at the end of Balboa Park. The views and gardens here provide the perfect backdrop for anything from family photos, to wedding photos, to engagement photos and more as well as being simply a peaceful place to take in the beauty and relax.
