Influx Cafe reviews
14Went in the morning and it was really quiet for a regular cup of coffee. It's Cafe Motto coffee and got the Mexico brand which is a medium roast with no cream of sugar. It's pretty good! I like my coffee black. The staff was really nice but I didn't stay there too long, however it was a nice and pleasant atmosphere.
Really great coffee: nice strong roast without being bitter at all! Plus a great sandwich and super nice staff!
It was decent.
Let’s talk about the bad first, to get it out of the way. Someone in my party got a bagel scramble that I was able to try. It was an underwhelming bagel-and-egg sandwich that most people can pretty easily recreate at home. I ordered an iced americano, and the roast was a little dark for me. There was a little citrus, but the bitterness was overwhelming. It kind of tasted like an orange peal. Cafés that heavily promote their syrupy coffee drinks tend to over roast their espresso, since the harsh bitter taste of really dark coffee is the only coffee flavor that can pierce through the intense sweetness of all the added sugar, and this is probably why the espresso was so dark at Influx. As a final nit picky thing, the bathrooms are hard to find, but the staff is more than willing to help you.
Which leads us into the good. The costumer service was great. The staff answered all of my questions (and helped me find the bathroom) with a smile on their faces. I ordered the traditional bagel (w/o tomatoes). It was really good, and although it was expensive, I’d order it again. The aforementioned party member ordered the iced brewed coffee, which was not bad. It had the same citrus taste, but without the overpowering bitterness of the americano. The citrus was not clear enough to pick out specific flavor notes though.
Cappuccino was amazing. Love the Oatly oak milk. Had the traditional (lox) and really enjoyed the salmon and extra large capers.
Amazing tofu sandwiches/bagels! It's not always easy to find a high protein vegan option at cafés, and these are especially tasty. The coffee is also great quality, and there is tons of outdoor seating to hang out with your dog.
Very good coffee, ok bagels needs better source food was ok fair price if bagels where good.
Always good coffee and very close to home, so I’ll ignore the occasional bad days they may have from time to time. And whoever does their baking? I need to have my sweet tooth extracted. Good place to work or meet, but 30th can get loud on occasion.
Great place. I eat at Influx every Saturday just after 11 with a large group. They are very accomodating. I recommend the Feta 3 or The Traditional and their iced teas (I like the blood orange).
Earlier this morning I took my car into a new and highly recommended mechanic. I will post a review on that later. I did not get to eat anything before leaving to take the car in, so I walked around the local South Park neighborhood in search of coffee and breakfast.
Although there are a lot of restaurants in this area, most of them were not open and do not open until 11 AM. Came into influx café and in reviewing their menu decided to try the bagel scramble and an americano. What can I say? OMG. That bagel was so good I think I died and went to heaven LOL. It was perfectly prepared and a very generous size portion for the price. In other words the price was very reasonable for the serving of food that I received.
Every bite of that sandwich was tasty and wonderful. I may have to keep bringing my car here so that I can have a reason to come here for breakfast LOL.
And, I have not yet mentioned that the Americano tasted great as well. This restaurant uses solar power to roast their coffee beans and I appreciate that because in addition to providing excellent food and coffee, they are working to care for the environment.
When you are in so far and looking for coffee or breakfast, stop at influx café and check them out! I highly recommend them and I will be back.
Great place for a Sunday breakfast or brunch. Kale salad was refreshing and satisfying even for a non-kale lover. Sit outside for a cool breeze and relaxing morning!
I live in the neighborhood have been going in there every morning. I find the staff dull and uninspired
This morning was my last visit as nkw thue have the cream and sugar on lockdown and could not get the drone behind the counter to give up more than 2 packs of sugar. Not wanting to hear her sorry excuse way I left with no sugar.
When people buy coffee for $3 it is basically the custom to give them cream and sugar to their specs.
If you right wads are having issues with the homeless making soup out of your condememts don't punish your customers. I'll be going back to jack in the box for coffee from now on. Don't go here they suck
Small, intimate place. The vendors were really nice and helpful. Also instagramable:) There are many places in the city where you can get amazing coffee.
This place is absolutely one of my favorites.i think i might become a regular.bring your hunger - portions are filling.
Food was so yummy. The service here is outstanding. Prices were fair for the quality of the food. Similar to a place in Denver I liked.
