Ing Doi Thai Kitchen reviews
15My husband and I are obsessed with Thai food, and this is the best place in Santa Clarita. The Tom Kah Kai (coconut curry soup) is delicious and unforgettable.
The worst thai food I've ever had. The flavors consisted of oil, more oil, and a dash of oil. I don't think they used any kind of sauce other then the mass amounts of oil in the drunken spicy noodles. FYI don't get the pad thai either, basically the same tasteless gloop with crushed peanuts on top.
Very disappointed food was terrible, no flavor, over cooked noodles. Even the wontons were not good like the wraps were old. I had done take out. I am not sure if there’s new owners, new cook or what, but not the same. I threw it all in the trash it was that bad.
Well, I usually love Thai food, and I would prefer to give a place a great review, if I can.
I can't.
The food was not good at all.
It wasn't prepared with care or kindness.
More like the opposite: Salty, greasy, and not very enjoyable.
If most Thai was like theirs, I would never eat Thai food.
Not authentic and not taste good. Soup watered down. Noodles had no taste. Called the restaurant and they won’t accept their food are not good. Not recommended. I won’t be going back. Go to other Thai restaurants, don’t waste your money here.
For the last 2-3 times we had bad experience with the food. Today we ordered Red Curry with Chicken for pickup. My Grandson could not even eat one spoon. It was only water and no curry. It was flavor less. When we called the restaurant the lady on there other end was rude. And told my wife not to come back to restaurant. Though she refunded the money but she rude in person as well. I don't recommend this Restaurant at all.
I have been going to this place for over 8 years and always enjoyed their food until today. My take out order was simple - a rice and a curry dish. Both were so salty that they are inedible. The flavor also seemed very different than what I am used to. Not sure if the owner has changed. Regardless, I won't be coming back. Shame on the restaurant for serving food to customers that are full of salt and absolutely inedible.
Just moved to Plum Canyon neighborhood, so this is just down the street. Mt first attempt at Thai restaurants is always chicken Pad Thai, #3 spicy, because it is the safest item on the menu. Here's the result: Tasty, solid, 1,000+ calorie meal. Leaves a little red stain on chop sticks from oil, but is no where near being greasy. That is the sweet spot for pan fried noodles. The chicken was pounded thin and was very tender.spicy number 3 was like spicy #2 at most places, although they did give me an extra pack of Sambal Olek chili paste (ordered take-out). Had the expected ingredients like bean sprouts, shredded carrot and chopped peanut, but no cilantro. I would have given them 5 stars if it the sauce tasted like fish sauce, tamarind and palm sugar, but it did not. The sauce tasted like tomato paste, corn syrup and soy sauce. Basically Americanized Thai food. Still good, but Americanized.
Dined here several times as well as ordered takeout. I've always eaten it at lunchtime. The place is small but comfortable and usually has tables available on weekday afternoons. Comprehensive menu with loads of traditional Thai dishes as well as popular favorites. There's also a lunch menu which is great if you're looking for a well rounded including soup or salad, an entree and a side. The quantity is decent for one person and for the price. A la carte is much more extensive and all the dishes are great. You really can't go wrong here but I highly recommend the fish dishes and spicy seafood ones. The Chef's Special are the best and I'm steadily working my way down the list. Service is great and very quick, prices are reasonable, quantities are just right for one person. Great place for quick Thai lunch. Takeout and delivery are good too.
The food is always delicious and made excellent. I would say the food is well worth the money you pay for it.
Meet was so tuff you could not chew. The soup had zero meat even though I it should have come with chicken and shrimp. Would not order again.
Awesome and tasty food, I like the vibes the place has, and the workers were super friendly. Will surely come back again.
Great spot. Thai in CA is actually better than home in NY. Their Thai rice with the pineapples is really good. Pot stickers, drunken noodles with chicken and beef mussaman curry are also fantastic.
Was in the mood for some noodle soup after a successful morning of thrifting, felt like rewarding myself with all the good finds I did today. Stumbled upon this gem literally I stumbled right in front haha but walked in and was instantly hit with an aroma of spices! Took my seat and already knew what I wanted, boat noodles ftw! It's so homey and full of flavor you can't really go wrong ordering this. Oh and the plus is the price! Everything is how Thai food should be priced. You'll see none of that overpriced shizz here and me being me I had to get something to go because it's so rare when I'm in the area gotta make it worth the trip! Hits home if you looking for some Thai foods!
Terrible customer service! We called to let them know an item was missing from our order and she yelled at us and hung up on us!
