I took the Basic Handgun training class, taught by Steve and Mike, and had a blast! Their course was very involved, engaging, and hands-on, and taught me everything I needed to get my California Firearms Safety Certificate by the end of it. I will definitely be going back to do their more advanced courses!

As a beginner participating without prior experience, the handgun red dot sight class was overall a good experience. The instructor was knowledgeable and helpful and the course agenda was organized and well-structured. The course was designed to introduce participants to the basics of handgun red dot sight use and provided some hands-on experience following some basic forms in drawing, hand placing, and finding the dot.

One of the pros of the class was that it was very comprehensive in its coverage of the basic concepts and terminology associated with the use of a handgun red dot sight. It also provided some hands-on practice with the different sights, which was helpful for getting used to the feel and operation of the sights.

The curriculum would do well to allocate more time setting and finding the red dot, items critical to first time RDS shooters. Additionally, the course could have been longer to provide more time for questions and further practice with finding the sights especiallu under stressful situations.

The kicker of the class for me was also being given the scenario of red dot failure without co-witness.

Overall, the handgun red dot sight class for beginners was a positive experience. It provided a good introduction to the basics of handgun red dot sight use and allowed participants to gain some hands-on experience with the sights.

I'm looking forward to seeing Steve and everyone again soon

The recently added red dot training class taught by Steve Harbottle was excellent. He provided training which included very necessary skills that focused on the practical use of a red dot optic-particularly on how to rapidly acquire the dot and accurately place it on target. Thank you Steve!

Steve and Mike were excellent. If you have zero knowledge or experience with handguns this is the class for you. Steve lightened up the mood with his charismatic humor and simplified the course with his expertise. I aced the FSC exam. If I could give it 6 stars I would. I highly recommend to beginners.

I recently took the Red Dot class in April 2023. The class had an agenda that was followed, the targets are set up and ready to go. Multiple time the targets are changed to provide a fresh platform to work with. The Red Dot class covered a lot of subjects in the 5 hours. If you are new to Red Dot and you plan on carrying it, take a class. My target acquisition and accuracy improved during this class.

This a great introduction class. Steve is informative, entertaining and patient in the classroom. Even for a first time learner, you’ll leave feeling comfortable, confident and prepared.

Steve and Sandy were awesome. The class instruction was engaging and informative and you can tell the experience level of the instructor is top notch. Thank you. I enjoyed the class and recommend your class to anyone needing more information and instruction.

I took the intermediate class with Inland Training. It far exceeded my expectations. Steve & Sandy were great teachers! They are both very professional, yet have great senses of humor. It was all about safety and fun (and improvement of course)! Great Combo. I will be taking more courses with Inland Training in the future.

I've attended both the basic and intermediate classes and I highly recommend Inland Training. All the instructors are friendly and knowledgeable. I definitely saw improvements in my shooting skills throughout the training.

Me and my wife attended their Basic Handgun Safety Class at Lytle Creek. Steve is a professional, patient and humor instructor. He patiently answered our questions in class and even in break times. Through his teaching, we have more knowledge about firearm safety and have more confidence to safely operate a firearm. Thank you, Steve and Sandy!

I had a great time. I was a little apprehensive about taking the class as I was afraid of my gun-always have shot a 357 with 38 light loads and now I'm shooting a 9MM-recoil is much different and the gun is much louder! Sandy was amazing! Solved the problem I was having with my left hand leaving the grip and I ended up shooting about 170 rounds! So I can say I'm not afraid of my gun! She challenged me and made it fun-corrected me when I needed it and challenged me even more! I did things I never thought I could do this early (I have only had this gun a couple of weeks). I'm looking forward to taking additional classes with her! I'm so glad I took this class.

I attended the LEOSA/HR-218 qualification with Inland Training Firearms at Lytle Creek Firing line. I would highly recommend them for LEOSA/HR-218 qualification. Outstanding from start to finish. Reasonable priced and a great knowledgeable staff.

I can't express how much I enjoyed the Basic Handgun class. Thorough, detailed, and FUN. Highly recommend for anyone curious or motivated to become educated and responsible gun owners!

My friend and I have two classes under our belt now and we plan on attending many more. Sandy is a great instructor!

We had a great time, my son and I. Very informative and fun class, we took the beginner handgun class. Knowledgeable, and great staff, Steve is a great instructor. My kind of sense of humor too. We will be back for the intermediate class for sure. Definitely worth it. If you're on the fence, go for it!

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!
Mrs. Sandy was AMAZING! She was kind and very efficient in her teaching! I came out extremely comfortable with handling guns and this is my first course! I can’t wait til I’m able to join the Guns and gals and grub club! She makes you very comfortable while still being a serious about gun safety! Thank you again! I’ve learned so much and I’m taking my test to have a weapon soon!

I enjoyed the basic class and it far exceeded my expectations. The instructors are passionate about what they do and it is worth mentioning that their knowledge is the best I could have ever imagined. Steve is the best at what he does and I want to point out that I love the atmosphere he creates within the groups he teaches and how he safely protects them at every turn. Highly recommend that you take these classes.
