Inn Town Campground

We went there to see if we want to camp there. They were so helpful and the campground was clean they even have a pool. We booked for a very large group. About 70 people. They helped us choose the best sites so we can be fairly close together. It has a lot of options for hiking and there is a train museum right next store.

We had a wonderful time tent camping at the Inn Town Campground. The facilities for bathrooms, showers, communal kitchen and great room were so well appointed and welcome. We highly recommend this campground! They also have option for RVs and glamping tents. They had a beautiful pool and nightly movies for the family. Low-key and perfect for our visit to Nevada City!

My husband and I enjoyed our three-night stay at Inn Town Campground very much. It was our second visit. The day we arrived, the office staff informed us apologetically that our site will be surrounded by first-graders (only for the first night). But they were very well behaved and didn't affect our desire for the quiet. The facility was clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and very attentive. We enjoyed splashing in the pool. The weather was on cooler side, so we were glad we rented the fire pit. Reading in front of the fire into midnight was such a treat! Thank you, Inn Town Campground, for supreme experience!

Wow! It was one of my favorite campgrounds while traveling. What a wonderful spot! Quiet and lots of space between campers. They have everything you need for an enjoyable stay. Beautiful area! I would highly recommend.

Cleanest most orginized park l have been to. I was amazed how nice it was. Very close to town also.

I spent two nights at Nevada Inn Town Campground with my wife and our 5 year old daughter and we had a great time here. The showers here were the nicest and cleanest on our whole trip. And everything else here was very well kept and thought out. A large living and dining room with a great equipped kitchen is also something we didn't have at any other campground. From the campsite you can make a nice walk in the city. So absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a quiet family friendly place to camp here in the corner.

Inn Town Campground is our favorite camping spot seven years in a row now! Accommodations are excellent-we like to go glamping but friends who join us often tent camp or RV. The campground is walking distance from a beautiful old gold mining town called Nevada City. It’s also a 20 minute drive from the Yuba river, where we like to swim and go gold panning. The campground also has a pool, a kitchen, nightly movies on the weekends for the kids and great showers if you don’t feel like roughing it. Dan and Erin are consummate hosts. We cannot wait to go back!

Well-kept campgrounds with super clean restrooms, hot showers, and a well-stocked store. Camp host erin is engaging and delightful. This is my Nevada City camping stop from now on.

Super cool campground literally right next to downtown Nevada City. Community kitchen fully stocked and available for use until 9pm. Super clean bathrooms and showers. Beautiful camp sites in the trees. Camp host came by and introduced himself which was a nice touch. Will definitely stay again!

Impeccable Groundskeeping on this Impressive Recreation Property Development. Very peaceful and restful Accommodations. Outstanding Commons Kitchen and Family Room, really nice experience cooking there. I especially enjoyed the tent sites near #28, the Railroad Museum is a Gem, the trees along that edge of the tent camping area are very inviting. HOT showers!

I love this place and have come for the last 2 years. It is a great place to relax. Many friends and family have asked me about it and want to come.

Each night they bring out a projector and play a movie, as long as you have a blanket or a fold-out chair to sit on it's a good time. There's also a convenience store on the property with the basic necessities snacks and more. Truly a good time!

My cousin stayed here back in July and loved it, so when we needed a quick get away to take a breather, we immediately thought of Inn Town Campground and I am SO glad that we did! Such a great place with great spots and such beauty. I love all the amenities they offer while also having the experience of camping in the woods. My 5 year old loved it too. We used the time to also make a quick jaunt to Tahoe to visit the snow! Plus, Grass Valley/Nevada City NEVER disappoints when it comes to amazing scenery, great eateries, and things to do! Every facility area at Inn Town Campground was so clean and well done. You can tell they take great pride in their work and put love into it. And the price is fantastic! We will 100% be back soon!

Inn Town Campground is an amazing place to camp. My family and I camped there for about 2 weeks while we were evacuated from our home due to the Mosquito Fire. The staff was kind, compassionate, and very accommodating. Our two boys swam, watched movies in their outdoor movie theater, hiked the trails, and loved every second of our “vacation “. The sites were very clean, as well as the laundry room and kitchen. We can’t wait to go back to camp again…without the evacuation part!
