Insomnia Cookies, San Diego CA

Ordered cookies for our wedding. They were delicious! I especially appreciate Insomnia's easy online ordering platform. I was able to place a large catering order within a few minutes, and they did not need very much notice (we ordered a few days prior.) Would recommend for any catering needs!

Some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced. The cookies were delivered after my sons birthday party. The order was completely wrong. I highly recommend choosing another option before you make the same mistake we did.

Very good cookies. We have the membership for $10/mo to get the deluxe cookies for $1/day. We definitely go here multiple times a week for a delicious, warm cookie. S'mores, Peanut Butter Cup, Salted Caramel, Confetti, and deluxe chocolate chunk are our go to cookies

Cookies tasted great but when they came in the box, they had sort of melted and drooped down into the crevices between each other since they were stacked over one another. Removing them from each other was messy and they broke apart very easily with other chunks of cookie being stuck on them. They really were good cookies but they couldve been separated properly so im not struggling with them, parchment paper wouldve worked in between the cookies.

My first and last time there. I mean, I didn't try the cookies. All I had was ice cream, which was not impressive at all. What really hit me was the customer service. Not a greeting, offering help, and staff looked unprofessional. I'm not a "Karen" at all, but this place needs new staff.

We have been looking for a good chocolate chip cookie…. And we found it! Delicious, warm, gooey! Everything you could have hoped for?

Great place if you want to order ahead and be given a wrong order. Then be laughed at when you bring it up to the staff.

Amazing cookies! My fiancé and I love coming here! The cookies are amazing and fresh the ice cream is bomb too!

The cookies are great but let me tell you about Nicole N. From Lemon Grove. She showed up to the store on short notice, opened the store and gave FANTASTIC customer service. Highly recommended and give Nicole from Lemon Grove, recently moved from Texas, a raise!

All the cookies are good except the mint flavor ones. I typically like mint cookies but they don’t make them well here.

I made a phone order from Texas for a delivery in San Diego, and my brother received some pretty amazing warm chocolate chunk cookies and milk for a midnight surprise! What a great idea! Last night I tried their vegan, gluten free chocolate chip cookie and I'll admit, I wasn't expecting much. Omygosh that was almost the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had - seriously! (Only 2nd to my own)

After leaving San Diego for almost 2 years this was my first stop after coming back into town and Janelle is my hero for helping me she's just as sweet as the cookies there

Placed an order last night. Couldn't picked them up for reasons beyond my control. Went today and was told they don't keep orders overnight. My loss. No suggestion of making a replacement order. Good thing I was getting them for free. Only wasted gas and time. Oh well

Came to this store at 9pm on a Sunday. The open sign was on and blinking in the window and the hours posted day until 1am. There were employees inside and they turned is away saying they were closed, no explanation. Very sad.

Worst service ever! I’m not sure who I spoke to, I believe it was a man but he was very rude and VERY demanding.
I felt unsafe. Will never go here again and will warn everybody to steer clear.

I came In today to purchase two 6 packs of cookies and 1 Peet's coffee.
I purchased three $10 gift cards on there site yesterday. The store was unable to accept them. I
nstead of declining me service, the cashier and a lady named kat went above and beyond and displayed exemplantary customer service.
Kat called customer service and did everything she could in order to get my order filled using my gift cards. Ultimately they were unable to complete by order over the phone using the gift cards but did confirm on the phone that my gift cards had balance.
Insomnia stated that they only allow one gift card to be used per order as the reason.
Kat processed my order and gave me my cookies despite this.
She took a note of the gift cards and told me that she will call insomnia to use my gift cards at a later time.
I very much appreciate this act of kindness and I will definitely be returning in the near future!

The cookies are okay. Large in size but other cookie places taste a bit better. I’m glad I tried it though.

Absolutely awful. Placed the order at 19: 54 on the evening of May 15th. Called the store at 21: 18 to check the status and was assured the driver was out for delivery and they should be here any minute. We didn’t receive our order until 2200, I called and canceled at the 2 hour mark though which is unfortunate as we were introducing insomnia cookies to our friends for the first time. Needless to say they were not a hit. I understand the store may have been busier than usual and was told they only had 1 driver but 2 hours for cookies is unacceptable. 10/10 would not recommend. Fix your Pacific beach store. Violet who answered the phone was very helpful and ensured we would get a refund.

I love y’all’s cookies! But it be taking FOREVER. No seriously I’ve ordered from this place four times-ish and TWO TIMES they forgot my order some place else. I had to wait three hours for four cookies. The cookies where.great but not worth a three hour wait. Please get a new driver
