Integrated Intervention Speech Therapy, San Jose CA

It was a pleasure to work with the IICA team. Their Speech therapists (Ms. Taylor and Ms. Anna) are very hard working staff. They are very professional, caring, and show how much they love their clients. IICA has good recommendations by doctors and other people in the community. I was recommended to IICA by a friend, because of their professionalism and their good reputation here in the Bay Area.

My son has been struggling to communicate well with people for years. With IICA support and the services they provide, he has improved in his communication with other peers. He is happy with how supportive Taylor and Anna are.

I am so thankful we found IICA and that Ms. Anna joined when she did. IICA's team and clinic had everything we needed. The front end staff was always patient with scheduling, until we found the times that worked best for my son's window of attention, our transitions in frequency and in person/ virtual. Ms. Anna nurtured my son's needs and mine as a mother. She tailored his sessions to always include subjects he was interested in- from his shark obsession to his new love for dinosaurs. She was always patient when he wanted to do the same underwater puzzle every session, or when he saw something in his virtual session that he would rather try - although it was not in her lesson plan. She always led with patience and love. Every session I would see an improvement and learn new areas I should focus on with at home care. All the worries I ever had with my son's speech were addressed and validated with Ms. Anna. I wish every family facing the worry I did, had the opportunity to have the individualized care Ms. Anna showed us.

IICA Speech Service has been an integral part of my son's speech progress. My son has been receiving speech therapy from Ms. Tayler and Ms Olivia, both of whom have shown their professional and caring attitude towards their work.

We’ve had a very good experience at IICA. My son gets speech, feeding therapy and OT here. Having all these services under one roof is very helpful and convenient. The therapists seem to sincerely care about my son’s progress. I really appreciate the consistency of the therapists, we’ve mostly worked with the same ones since we started here two years ago. Other therapy centers we work with have a high turnover which is difficult when working with children.
I also love how they keep me informed of his progress. Before COVID, when we were able to have in person sessions, he would go into the session by himself. I liked how the therapist would tell me everything that they worked on so I could take that information home and continue his learning.
The office staff is also very helpful. They promptly return any scheduling or billing inquiries I may have.

My daughter has been doing virtual classes for almost a year and the improvement we've seen on her it's just amazing! Big thank you to Ms. Tyler and Ms. Celia For Always being so patient with my daughter and for always making her smile and laugh, she looks forward to her classes every week. IICA Speech always goes beyond for everything, They sent my daughter a birthday card back on her birthday and she started crying because they remember her birthday and they made her feel very special. There's days where my daughter isn't paying attention 100% and they always communicate with her to see what is the issue or if there's something she would like to differently. I will definitely recommend IICA Speech To My Friends And Family.

My daughter has been coming here for over two years. She has made a significant progress while attending. Due to covid, the sessions had to be virtually. I must say, that this did not affect at all! It's been a year now since doing zoom meetings and her progress continues to grow. Mrs. Tayler and Mrs. Josie have put in a lot of dedication to help her accomplish her goals. I would highly recommend IICA Speech for any parent who's concerned about their child's speech delay!

My son has been attending IICA speech for a couple years now and has benefitted a lot. The speech therapists are engaging and have transitioned through the pandemic well.

When it was in person they would take the kid to their office and come back giving feedback and how they did and what they worked on.

Now in this stage, the sessions are online and there are fun videos and games the kids play while going over the speech development. Obviously as the adult you may have to help with the technicals, but it’s also good to see what your child is working on real time so you can work on it the rest of the week.

My son is currently working with Tayler and Shareen, but wonderful therapists that motivate him to do well in their quick session. It’s nice to have professionals that also work with kids well.

Sidebar: After we transition back to normal, it will be interesting to see if the zoom option stays as it adds more flexibility for parents, and I assume the employees. Just check with your insurance to see if that option is covered!
