Internal Medicine Associates of Sand Canyon: Ahsan Rashid, MD

Horrible experience. Horrible staff. You receive a super cold treatment when you walk into the clinic as a patient as if you’re just another dollar sign. The MD re-prescribed the same medicine next to a 2-3 months treatment with partial remedy saying that it’s the only medicine he has instead of referring me to a specialist. He went crazy and snapped on me when I told him that the medicine he prescribed was confirmed by the pharmacist not to be FDA approved instead of nicely checking on this issue and handling the situation professionally. I felt super offended and did not expect to be treated as I was responsible for his problem with the pharmacy. The worst part is that not only did he not apologize, but he switched to joyfully receive another client while abruptly walking out the examination room which made me feel a discriminatory treatment. I do NOT recommend this doctor to anyone due to his lack of interpersonal skills and unprofessionalism and I regret that this type of doctor cares about your money more than yourself as a patient.

One day I came to his office early in the morning without making an appointment. But the nurse told me that Dr. Rashid was in his office early by chance, and he usually does not start seeing patients before 10 am. However, when she asked him if he could see me, he didn't hesitate to see me. He is so kind

Dr Rashid was very detailed, thorough and explained my condition in way that was very easy to understand. I feel very pleased to have him as my doctor.

I am grateful Doctor Rashid was able to see me the same day I called, when no other Doctor wanted to see me. I was very sick, and if it wasn't for Doctor Rashid I would have ended in the Hospital. He listened to me and how I was feeling. In 5 minutes, he knew what I had, and took care of me right away with a follow up visit after a week of treatment. At first, I was doubtful, but as I progressively became better in health I realize God put this Doctor in my path.
