Most people don't have any need for a store that sells fire equipment, ie firefighting equipment. The Fire Department handles all that. You have a fire extinguisher somewhere, or two; and if you have a commercial establishment you have somebody who comes around once a year and takes care of whatever is required and necessary. But if you DO have a need for genuine serious professional firefighting gear like firehose; nozzles; adapters; extinguishers; most of the stuff you see on a firetruck - drop in to IEF. Don't be shy - try to explain as closely as you can what it is you're trying to do in the way of firefighting or fire prevention. For example, you probaby do NOT want the best firehose available, because it's too heavy and awkward and you're only going to use it once in a while or hopefully never. Let them show you the single wall hose, and rest assured that they tested the stuff themselves up to 250 psi. The alternative is to buy this stuff on the internet, , like on eBay or FireHoseDirect.com which is fine but doesn't make too much sense IMHO if you have a store like IEF right in your home town or close enough. The prices are downright cheap.
