Irvine Montessori House is an amazing place for children to learn, grow, and be loved. It is so difficult for me to hand over my children to others, but here, you can do this without worry. My infant was here for six months and after a short time, he would run into the daycare and forget all about me at morning drop offs because Ms. Angela, Ms. Shakeela, and Mrs. Sandaya and the children loved him so well. It really became a family away from family, and we were heartbroken when we had to move out of the area. Not only are the teachers and directors great, but the families here share a love for children and want the best for them. They will become your community and your child will learn so much about, letters, numbers, sign language, and beyond from being part of this wonderful daycare.

My two and half year old daughter started preschool in February. We were very excited but also preoccupied due to COVID restrictions and the overall situation.

From the very beginning, Mrs. Sandía, the owner, was very open, resourceful and transparent about her school. She showed us around the preschool on the weekend when the school was closed and explained the routine and activities. We were enchanted from the first time, but when our baby started school it completely exceeded our expectations!

Our toddler very quickly adjusted and didn’t struggle with any adaptation or anxiety at all. During the first two weeks, the teachers wrote a daily report on my toddler’s improvement so that I was fully aware of everything. They also sent me pictures every single day. After two weeks, she started rushing me in the morning “as she might be late to school” and for sure she didn’t want to miss any minute.

We’re a Polish-Mexican family and we use our home languages at home so during C-19 she wasn’t exposed to any English at all and after a very short time, she started talking English without any problem at all. We had some behavioral issues as she was pulling other kids’ hair and that completely stopped after ten days in preschool. Teachers Mrs. Rena and Mrs. Shakeela also prepare kids’ birthday parties and special events like St. Patrick’s Day, which make going to school way more exciting for the whole family. They are doing a lot of crafts, which are great gifts for grandparents. My girl started singing many more songs, counting, spelling letters and simply- she’s a way more cheerful baby. We couldn’t be happier!

Frankly speaking, this school is absolutely fantastic and marvelous in every possible way.

Teachers Mrs. Rena and Mrs. Shakeela and owner Mrs. Sandía are highly experienced professionals with golden loving hearts for little ones. Always explaining everything, open for any questions and constantly sending pictures of how they spent the day. Their utmost care and high standards assure that kids grow up with love, joy and warmth that only beloved ones could give. If you’re looking for a small group of truly dedicated people to take care of your baby- you will be more than delighted. I am so happy we found this special place and would highly recommend it to everyone!

Both my 5 year-old son and 2 year-old daughter have been going to The Irvine Montessori House since they were five months-old. It has been like a second home to them, a place where they feel safe and loved. As an elementary teacher myself, I also appreciate the age-appropriate focus on social and academic development. My kids come home singing songs, showing off their art or schoolwork, and talking about their friends. This year my son started transitional kindergarten and is already ahead of the class. The Irvine Montessori House has all the warmth of an in-home daycare combined with the education of an excellent preschool.
