I reserved a spot A parking spot there for my travel trailer, but Gustavo took it in his own hands to cancel my reservation. He stated that my trailer would not fit in the spot which I don't understand because there's a 24 ft trailer next to the spot I reserved. Mine is under 24ft and he's very rude and playing favoritism on this matter. Highly dissatisfied after visiting the facility and get confirmation from other staff members that I can reserve this spot. He would not work with me at all.

Gustavo the manager was terrific. Knowledgeable and personable. He made the process simple and easy.

Irvine Self Storage is excellent. They always have great specials - this is my 2nd time back to rent a storage unit from them. Their great in customer service and the process to rent the unit is easy and quick once you arrive. The staff is very friendly and I give them an A+

Just to keep it short, there amazing and so helpful also cannot beat the price from anywhere else love them and you really won’t regret it trust!

“I was taking a tour around the facilities because the prices seemed reasonable, but saw rats and insects everywhere and decided to go for a different option nearby that takes care of their units and customers better. Also, I heard that their prices increase every year, so def not worth it. ”

Excellent customer service, and cheaper than most self storage places in Irvine. People are very helpful there. The only thing that was hard was that the stall numbers are hard to find if your unit is upstairs. There are no signs to tell you which stalls are where. We had to walk all the way down the hallway only to realize it was on the very other side.

First impression was great. Dealing with Sean was awful ️ you would have a higher rating if he would be more professional. I called to verify some paperwork and he told me that they rented the unit I just paid for the day before. When I came in the day to move in he was very rude. Gustavo was pleasant and reassured us.

I would give them a big fat zero if there was a choice. I rented it on Oct 25 I paid $5. So at the beginning they prorate October charge me November and the second month December was to be free. However in November 15 they Billed me for December’s Rent which was ebUnder contract law that is considered a breach of contract. At that point. I knew that they were shady and I decided to move out priot to December as they would certainly hold my property hostage if I didn’t pay Decembereven though it wash supposed to be free. I moved everything ou5 on November 21 making my stay less than 30days-
So on December 10 they send me a notice I’m late for rent. His was for my fre month and 19 days after I moved out.then I’m not kidding you they threatened to run my account over to Collections.i guess their upset I didn’t let them scam me.the crazy thing is I never write these reviews but these folks do not stop harassing me for storage rent that I had for less than a month and they were paid upfront. They conned me into going with them offering a months free. They breached the contract upon sening me December bill.
Had I not moved out, they would had used hocus to claim a late fee on a month that should not have been charged and tacked on fee after lien fees and by arguing with them over their nonsense I would have fee after fee tacked on.
After experiencing this before, I only utilize these facilities very short under 30 days when m in between places or am working on a project in a city and have to leave for a couple of weeks and return.
Most storage companies are corrupt especially the nicer ones that a clean in nicer areas. The places less likely to rip you off are the older run down storage in fringe areas. Let’s face it, your storage facility is not where you live so it doesn’t need to be aesthetically pleasing clean as long as it’s gated so vagrants don’t go in.

Careful with them!
I cancel my storage contract and paid in full all owed, yet, I got a call saying I need to pay $14 for not giving them a notice to move out. Over the phone I made it clear I'm moving out by the end of February and I did so and I explicitly told them this is my notice that I'm moving out.
Also you can find better deals if you shop around.
If you go there from 1-3 pm they may be out for lunch so if you have to go better call to make sure they are there hahaha. Their computer is slow as if they were running windows 95 on it but at least they have coffee in their lounge. Oh and don't forget to bring a lock that they find fits their subjective safety standards because if you don't they might be able to sell you a lock on spot.hmmm.
Just beware, overall experience was acceptable but some of their policies are just dumb. Make sure to fill out a moving out form because telling them you are moving out apparently isn't.

Great experience overall. If I need a storage unit again, I would definitely go back. It was Always clean, Access was easy, there were always carts to help with hauling, and the staff is great! It’s Easy to sign up and just as easy to end it. There is only one downside I can think of - you are not able to access your unit after 7pm. It was a little hard to plan around during the week, but not enough to lose a star.

Good units but the hours they let you access it are very selective, if you work late don't expect to access your unit after 7pm
