This church takes to heart Jesus' admonition to "welcome the stranger. " Members are very friendly, music is inspiring, and main focus is on community and world activism.

A beautiful and welcoming congregation. Their strong stance on Social Justice is a bright light in Orange County!

Do yourself a favor and come enjoy the warm welcome at this progressive, gay-friendly church in Irvine. The pastor is an energetic and creative young woman with a great track record on LGBT+ issues, racial diversity, climate change, pay equity, and workers’ rights. She has just introduced a new contemporary service at 11: 15 on Sunday mornings that is upbeat and full of wonderful music. It’s a really special place!

Irvine UCC is pretty easily the most progressive church in Irvine. It is a place with an excellent music program, a extremely talented new pastor, a wonderful childcare program (both during the week and in Sunday School) and a strong commitment to peace and justice. Marvelous place that is almost certainly on a path toward upward growth!

I love this church! The extravagant welcome and inclusivity of this progressive Christian church is a breath of fresh air. I especially appreciate their Mission and Service Ministry which supports our unsheltered neighbors and is currently helping 9 Afghan refugee families. The choir is awesome too!

I am impressed with the amount of work currently being done with refugees. Volunteers are helping them learn English, driving them to immigration hearings, housing them and donating food and clothing. Many of these people come with nothing.

I love the way the IUCC Mission & Service ministry reaches out to help EVERYONE in the community, regardless of faith or provenance. They really walk the walk!
