Italico Pizzeria Restaurant, Palo Alto CA

Hands down my favorite restaurant in Palo Alto. Great tasting, simple Italian cuisine. Great wine, great service. Owners and personnel go out of their way to get to know their customers and make them feel part of the Italico-Terun family.

Delicious meal and a great experience. We visited with family having young children. The server was very friendly and great at interacting with the kids. The food came really quickly after ordering and everything tasted amazing. We went on a Wednesday when they have cacio e pepe on the specials menu. They make is table side which is great to watch especially for kids and the taste is heavenly. We left wanting to come back soon to try everything we couldn't. Got 2 pastas to share with the table and multiple pizzas. Everything was excellent. Staff were personable, and experienced, and the management was inviting and friendly. They aren't fooling when they say they have decaf espresso (enjoyed with the affogato) I was sound asleep within a couple hours.

We come here a lot. Yummy food and great service. We especially like the salads and thin crust pizza

The preparation is good and service is well, can definitely check this out. No disappointments. Plus you can always walk around the area.

As authentic an Italian restaurant you'll find in the whole Bay Area. Also one of the best wine lists - dozens of pages of varietals broken down by European state and region!

On Thursday nights there is live music, which makes the atmosphere really enjoyable.

Food:
The pizza is presently surprising, it has its own character and it is different from many. Mostly because the dough is quite unique and it has an earthy flavor (they use some special mix of different flours).
I also had the fried seafood, and they were also very good.

Wine:
There is an ample and good selection.
Try the sparkling rosé, it is dry and it goes perfectly with the fried seafood.

Atmosphere:
Joyful, welcoming, warm (even outside!).

The place offers a great variety of fresh food. I like dining here. Staff members are always nice, pricing is reasonable and the spot is always clean.

Last night, walking in at the final hour, the patron took special care to make sure my experience was agreeable, despite the rush of closing time. I wanted to give special thanks for that act of kindness. I am a long time customer of iTalico and have always had a 5 star experience there, and recommend it highly for the delectable quality of the dishes and the unbeatable ambiance as well. Grazie.

Everything they do is perfection and authentic.how could it NOT BE with a pair of Italian Brothers in the kitchen and running this great restaurant. Maico & Franco Campilongo are GREAT!
