Best sushi in Simi valley - some come close but Izakaya reigns supreme, even their non sushi options are amazing

Great sushi. Fresh fish, generous portions, and they have very reasonable prices. Great value for the combinations. I've been here a few times for takeout, and it's my new favorite sushi place. Highly recommend the Hawaiian roll. Best nearby sushi place in Chatsworth Porter Ranch area. Ten minutes away, totally worth the trip.

Had incredible dinner tonight with great service with Kelly. Yellowtail collar, spider roll, crunchy rice with spicy tuna, Hamachi sushi, and carpaccio. The jalopenllas were tasty, too. Gordon

Came here for the first time for my birthday. It was the best custom service I have experienced in a very long time. The sushi was so fresh, authentic and delicious! A very small place but we luckily went midweek and walked in no problem.

The food and service are always excellent.the only problem is that they are only open at lunch for takeout.

Amazing sushi and all food, plus the staff is so so nice and helpful too! Really packed on a weekday night so you know it's good. Super fresh and the variety is amazing.

The food was good and the staff are very nice. Though we asked for no sesame seeds and all of the plate came with a lot of sesame seeds. It was disappointing as we have a sesame allergy.

Amazing Sushi place. The sushi tasted fresh and very flavorful. I’ve tried sushi up and down the State and this one is one of my favorites. Prices are very reasonable as well. Photo shows the Izakaya Combo with the Hot Night Roll and Alaskan Roll. This combo includes the 2 whole 8 piece rolls with Miso Soup for a great price. I would highly recommend if you’re in the area. They are currently only doing Take Out due to COVID. Staff was very friendly.

Not too bad, but the rolls could be more flavorful. Less on the rice and more of the other ingredients too.
