This is a mom n pop hole in the wall gem located in a somewhat sketchy corner. This was my first time here and it will definitely not be my last. DO NOT LET THE AREA SCARE YOU AWAY! Restaurant itself is small but the food is amazing. If you want to experience an authentic home cooked Mexican meal, come here. The lady preparing my food reminded me of my mom who always wore her typical Mexican apron (mandil) throughout the day wether she cooked or not haha. The cook makes the food to order, you see it and you can taste it. I had the fried tilapia with garlic and huarrache and oh man was I satisfied. 5 stars, I wish this place stays around forever.
