I can't say enough of good things about this beauty supply. On many Occasion's I've gone into the shop for different hair items last minute, and have always been greeted warmly by the owner and staff. Hair care supplies to lace front wigs, I've never left this beauty supply disappointed. Thank you for serving The African American community we do not have very many beauty supply shops that cater to our hair texture needs. This shop has been around for some time now, and we all know this is rare. May God continue to Bless you and your business.

I come shop here all the time and they never restock there items or they never take the items in the back out the boxes like aghh can y'all restock and get hair or something

Honestly I'm not from Modesto so I was suggested to come to this hair store. The prices are a little high depending on what you get.

It's an okay place for wigs and hair. A bit expensive on most products and not worth the money. Service - okay. Products & Value - Meh.not that great

Out of stock of 'Black' Hair Dye. This is supposedly an African-American beauty shop, then how could you be out of the most popular color among African-Americans? No Return policy without a valid reason, whatever that means. If your looking for professionalism in service, this IS NOT the place.

Wonderful black owned beauty supply! They have a large number of hair care products and hair! Wonderful service and staff I've known the owner for years she had her baby girl at the register and she has an amazing personality just like her mom.

The lovely owner and her staff of family and friends are all extremely sweet and helpful. Im a stylist and this place has my ch better selection and customer service compared to any Sally’s Beauty Supply I’ve been too. I totally recommend it. Prices are reasonable too.

When I walk in employers speak then come where your at. To look to see where someone is at all in the back. Then the braiding hair should be a lower price and the hair products are expensive. I especially don't like if a person is getting a weave they wont suggest things to go with it.

Other businesses beware. Never have I been in a place that spews so much negativity about other businesses. I was referred here by a salon to pick up items for my service. I could not believe how terrible they were. Basically they talk trash and try to get you not to go to your appointment. They then referred me to what I can only assume is a family member. Just funny because the salon I was going to I have visited several times prior. I just couldn't believe how much bad stuff they had to say about these people that do great work, that have slayed my hair, and that sends business to them. If I were a salon around them I would really be careful sending clients here. Might end up with a no show for appointments with the negativity they have to say about you.

Customer service is poor unless your another color. Never have a variety of hair color for wigs that they sell. Need another beauty supply here in modesto, then maybe they would step up their game.

I shop there all the time and I bought the wrong hair and they would not let me return even though I bought it the same day.

Bought wrong hair and the lady turned me down for exchange she didn't even ask me what I wanted when I bought the hair I'm such a newbie at extensions. If you go in there please make sure you buy the right thing or you won't get your money back! Now I'm -$130!

Love this store. I just move from Oakland can hair land to Modesto ca. And I been looking and looking for good beauty supply stores, I couldn't find none. Then boom I found J&C, now I'm in heaven and very happy. They have everything I love and more and the prices on weaving hair, clip in hair, and very affordable. The customer service is the best they welcome you with open arms and lots of love.

This place has horrible hair products the hair sucks doesn't even look good it's cheap hair not recommended at all
