J & J's Mexican Food reviews
12 WOW! We discovered this place only recently because my husband was around the corner at the vet's office and needed to pick up dinner quickly. SO happy we did!
When I called to put in the order, I was told it would be ready in 10 minutes - super quick and it was ready as promised.
My husband's fish tacos were crazy good. He said there was some white sauce on it, and even though he didn't know what it was, he said it was quite flavorful.
I had the cabeza burrito - an amazing mix of flavors, not fatty, and the cilantro and onion cut through the richness perfectly - simply delicious and completely craveable! If you don't think you're a fan of this cut, you're missing out on the most mouth-watering, juicy beef EVER!
My mom had the chicken burrito, who was amazed by the sheer size of it! She enjoyed hers as well.
The only issue we had was related to the refried beans on the side. They were ordered but we didn't receive them. I'm sure it's because it was dinner time and they were probably super busy. My husband didn't double-check it either. We didn't pay for them, so no worries!
I'm definitely going back for more!
NOTE: It seems prices changed as of 12/1/2022.
Orange Juice was expired they "fixed" it by giving us two Sunkists that turned out to be flat. Worst part: Flavorless food.even some salt would help this bland taste.
Whenever I'm in the area of spring valley/ LA Presa i must stop by here to eat a very authentic Mexican food. Menu is a really awesome selection.
Good food if they can keep it open the hours they say. Came to eat after checking the hours opened till ten it was closed by 8 pm
It took them more than three minutes to make a California burrito with zero customers in the restaurant. Any place smells like mold, and rotten vegetable.
This is my go to spot for Mexican food. Always reasonable and great food. I eat here at least 5 times a month. Great family owned restaurant and the best habañero salsa is ever had
Menudo was pretty good with fresh corn tortillas. Came with typical garnish and added the fiery hot sauced. Beer and water was nice and cold.
I was working in the area in Spring Valley, I saw this mexican food restaurant. OMG the food, the price and the customer service are excellent. This is a must try mexican restaurant their menu is big so you have plenty of options.
Great food Great service great people. I always go here. Truly recommended never had a bad experience
I was working in the area, was hungry and wanted to stay close to where I was, I was pleasantly surprised with the food it was so delicious! I got 4 mini tacos to share with my coworker, we also got the baja burrito.everything was just perfect.highly recommend
First time here & it will be my last! I bought 3 carne asada fries & it barley had any carne, guacamole & sour cream.the majority of the fries at the bottom were really dry.it felt like i basically just bought fries & for the price it wasn’t worth it. ($11)
Once again it was on point. Went for the me Cali Burrito extra cheese. Keep on going back and back. Cause it's f-ing Good
